Is today the busiest day of televised motorsport ever shown in the UK? We have (programme times not starts):

USC: overnight from midnight

Moto Le Mans: 6:00

WSB: 9.10

BTCC+supports: all day from 10:30

BSB+supports: all day from 11.20

GP2: 12:10

GP: 15:30

WTCC: 16:00

Moto GP+supports: from 16:30

IndyCar: 21:00

If someone showed the Indy Lights it would be a full house.

Anyhow it's a massive change from the 80s where there was a fraction of the live coveage (500cc, GPs and a couple of hours of Le Mans?).

Haha, yea. I'll be watching the F1 race live, and I'll watch Moto3, Moto2, MotoGP, WSBK races and GP2 Sprint race later on tonight and into next week. Apart from F1(BBC, not Sky) and WSBK, I don't have the channels to watch these live anyways.

If ITV4 picked up a few more highlights packages it would be helpful just to condense the viewing!!

Have watched USC, caught a bit of WSB, put lamb/potatoes in the oven to cook for 5 hours and now Just going to grab the papers to read in front of the BTCC build up.

So envious, I have pork to put in, but my wife is out for the day an I'm going to have a 1 and 4 year old to look after. Think of me when you're sat in your piece and quiet :).

Fingers crossed for them to need a snooze during one of the races!

Thought I'd revive this thread for today. We have already had (uk time) formula e,indy car. We have f3 on now then world superbike, wtcc, btcc, f1, moto gp and random sports cars/tcr on motors tv if you're still hungry for motorsport! If you're so inclined on TV there is also England in a world cup cricket final and one of the biggest cycling races of the year plus some fairly important for the title football. Glad i did all the cleaning, shopping and meeting friends yestetday! Have a good one all.

Live V8s supercars earlier this morning aswell! Was a great race and well worth watching a replay of if you can fit it in! Can't complain about the amount of coverage now a days. For all the issues surrounding it at the end of the day F1 is live on two different channels in the UK. Why couldn't it have been like that when it was still watchable!!!

Really like v8s but tend to only follow it during the endures. Will try to record thay. Itv4 is a great thing as well for uk fans. Not only multiple series live and in highlights (including new British 'f3' this morning) but also documentaries such as the upcoming motorsport mavericks they've advertised today during btcc.

P.s. and we have a great uk based blog 'f1 broadcasting' covering it all!

Thanks for posting - always thought it would be really useful if there was a round up of what was on prior to each weekend, so I don't miss anything.

One thing; is there is no BSB this weekend as listed. If there were Shakey and Haslam have made a big mistake being in the studio to talk about the WSB races!
