THE RULES:
The game consists in guessing the three first drivers (podium positions) in F1 races. You do an ordered guess (e.g. username/Alon/Hami/Vett) and a score is given according to real podium results. The scoring system is as follows:
- Driver finishes in the position you guessed - 10 points
- Driver finishes one position off your guess - 6 points
- Driver finishes two positions off your guess - 3 points
Bonus points:
- If you get all three drivers correct - 10 points
- If you get the first two drivers correct (1-2) - 6 points
- If you guess correctly the winner of the race - 3 points
Only one bonus will be applied. The maximum score per round is 30+10=40 points.
It another driver makes a podium position, he doesn't give any points. The driver has to be on the podium to give points.
Points will be awarded as per the drivers who celebrate the official podium ceremony after the race, with no subsequent protests or exclusions taken into account.
*** ALL GUESSES TO BE POSTED BY START OF FIRST PRACTICE OF RACE WEEKEND. LATE GUESSES WILL BE EXCLUDED FROM THE ROUND ***
Ties in general classification at the end of the season will be resolved by best results through the year, i.e. the player with the most first places wins the game. In case of further tie, I'll take into account the first places with the highest score (e.g. a win with 40 points will count more than a win with 26 points). In case of further tie, the player with the most second places wins, and so on.
Our two intrepid 'Bot' players return; BERNIE guesses the podium finishers from the last round and JEAN guesses the leading three drivers in the championship.
Good luck to all .
