Turn one seems needlessly awkward, if they just got rid of the inside barrier it would be a much nicer run down the hill.
My first thought. Why on earth did they make the barrier so long?
Overall nice race.
Funny how no pole position holder had won the race... until Monaco.
Don't get me wrong, I love Monaco, but it is pretty telling.
Anyhow. It got me really excited about the real thing in two weeks!

On the subject of slowness btw; I was at a track event some weeks ago and we drove "Formel Renault Student" which is a small Formula car with a 130 hp Renault engine.
When they hade the Driver Cam, the car sounded and acted EXACTLLY like the one I drove.
Obviously the Formula E cars went faster, but I recognized it instantly.
I don't do that with F1.

A decent race but I feel that turn 1 is too awkward, moving the apex back 10 metres could make for much better racing.

1960s ?
Monaco didn't have the same track layout in the 1960s, would be pretty pointless comparing average speeds with any modern cars.

Yet another entertaining Fe race. The track did seem ridiculously narrow in some spots though.
Speed made a nice comeback and I was very impressed when Piquet narrowly avoided taking out DiGrassi.

Is it a requirement for Formula E tracks to have a really, really stupid first corner? Every track so far....

They should have a big event in October/November in Monaco where every Kart Series has it's final. Imagine Go-Karts on this track.
Future racers getting their first taste of the most iconic track.
That'd be something!

Just watched the race. Pretty decent race, but it shows that you have very few options to pass in Monaco. Overall, I was expecting more silliness, but apart from the start, the race was pretty good and clean. If they're able to extend the battery life in the next two years, they should extend the track distance in Monaco at least. I wouldn't mind seeing the car switch pit stops continue if we can have longer track race in some situations.
Congratulations to Buemi for his win and a pretty good race from the get-go!!
