Your predictions for tomorrow? Can Kimi recover from this qualifying? Can STR keep those positions or will the fall back a little bit?

Given that the Ferrari should have 2nd best race pace anything lower than 4th would make a bad weekend for Kimi real bad.

Maybe not a stand-out performance, but pretty good. After all, qualifying has been a relative weakness this year for Ferrari. Williams has been alarmingly close several occasions, while in race trim Ferrari has a clear edge and is close to Mercedes.

Let's not forget that Bottas was the only driver to improve on his final run of the top teams. The track just didn't evolve... If anything it was a stonker of a lap from Bottas.

Unless Bottas has one of his usual starts Kimi is going to struggle to get 4th.

It is not very becoming how people are completely thrashing Kimi though the team has let him down this weekend on more than once. Sending him out with wrong setup on FP3 and then burning his tires useless in Q3. What the heck???

Yes, all those things happened to him but if he did a decent q1 times on the hard tyres like Vettel did instead of having to use a set of medium tyres he would have had 2 sets for q3 and even burning one set wouldn't be the end of the world, he could have been 4th,so it's not all on the team.

Kimi was poor. What happens in practice shouldn't affect a driver of his calibre that much.

The fact that he's completely lost on the new, faster package is a much bigger deal as far as I'm concerned though. It's becoming tiring.

What are these issues raikkonen is facing? Tyres melting in the garage? Strange stuff going on all weekend with the team.. wtf?

A few of the mechanics are still receiving payments from Fernando to keep sabotage up.

Anyone think this could be a bit of a Brazil 2014 race with Lewis hounding Nico the whole way, but making the pit stop work in his favor this time with only a single push lap after Nico has pitted?

Yeah that had crossed my mind, but i also remember the 2011 Spanish Grand Prix when Lewis was stuck behind Seb unable to overtake even with DRS, so it will all come down to making an Alonso like start.

The only thing standing in the way of Hamilton steamrollering this season was some pressure - finally Rosberg had delivered some. Lets see if the German can maintain it in the race.
