Ebay? Smaller non critical parts can you actually design and 3D print yourself if you have the skills.

check country of origin
do not buy china India ect made junk parts
check the CORP major makers are better
if rebuilt check by who where also
some fancy car's over priced bits are really from cheaper cars
ie a good bit of porsche's minor bits are from vw-audi's
and much cheaper if bought as vw parts
junk yards esp pick and pull yards are cheap

Not buying Chinese, Indian etc these days is a real problem as that is where the OEM stuff is made!
Very little from a VW fits a Porker in the last 30 years.
Self serve wreckers are often worse than your own parts.
I sell new and used parts, and have bought them too for about 3 decades!

Mats, 3D printing is very viable for hard to get parts for old models. For Normal cars the small volumes are unviable for a cheap car worth a few thousand.

agree
but a major international CORP even in china is many times better then no-unknown name china parts
eng tran brakes no but little bits like switches are still used on P-cars from vw parts
M-B for years used ford a/c parts
volvo O2 sensors are a common part 1/2 priced if for a ford vs a volvo price
I like pick&pull parts as you can see the car and judge if keap up or neglected ect
