Tell me Bernie is not drooling over the scenic aspect !

Jp

He is 1,652 years old, give or take a century. When he drools, it's hard to tell why.

Old news, I know, but I must say that Franchitti is brilliant in the commentary box.

Y'know, back when he is was in F1 (well, before the Caterham debacle), I used to like Trulli, and think he was underrated.

Now... not so much....

So Trulli actually was crap back in the F1 days and not just brilliant in qualifying.

Buemi has been given a 30-second penalty and drops to ninth - not for cutting the chicane, but an unsafe pit release.

Well it looks like Buemi is going to have to pull off something good to have a stab at the title now. Guess I'll be backing Piquet if it comes down to him against Di Grassi

Had to watch the race delayed, interesting race with battles all through the field. Shame that the lead battle was rather one sided, then again I'm backing Piquet for the championship.

Trulli was frustrating but fantastic at the same time....his chicane cutting deserves a penalty but it prolonged a great feisty scrap!

Also well done Salvador Duran. A good 6th place today, solid race under the radar.

Too bad that we had 2 MAJOR championship-impacting penalties with DiGrassi in Berlin and Buemi in Moscow.  I hope Piquet wins the title emphatically, so there can be no what-ifs.  Other than that, even though this race was a bit blander than the rest so far, another hour well spent watching it.   FE gets so many things right that F1 screws up.  I am really impressed.  Also hope that the dreaded fanboost will stay with the top-3 for the finale.  It seems like a fair thing to do.

Heidfeld on the podium!

Plus e.dams's antics are worthy of inclusion in any future "most embarrassing excuse" thread.

Di Grassi and Piquet Jr hate each other, ideal for a dramatic showdown in London!

This is almost too perfect...

Piquet added, before that "Double interview" that: "I've beaten him in each category we raced together, he was in front of the championship only due to his early collaboration and testing with Formula E"

I had forgotten about that early collaboration. Didn't he withdraw from official testing when it became clear he wouldn't be allowed to be in the championship if he continued, so he stopped?

Inded. Also from a Brazilian site (I will try to translate as much as I can but Portuguese is not my first language so sorry in advance for the inaccuracies)

Nelsinho always talked a lot of BS, through all his entire career he always talked too much. Always giving controversial interviews, always talking too much. If somebody here cheated, if sombeody always cheated in races that was Nelsinho. He won a Brazilian Kart Championship using a sparkplug from an airplane. That's a well-known story in Brazilian karts. He took advantage of a breach in the rules to use a completely different component and win the kart championship. And what he did in Singapore 2008, to crash on purpose, that's something I'd never do, no matter who told me to do it, no matter the situation.
