Best Driver Performance: Hard to judge. Probably Massa for some great overtakes. (credits to Vettel, Bottas, Alonso, Hamilton and Maldo)
Worst Driver Performance: A lot of drivers disappointed me, but no one was especially bad. Maybe Kimi.
Best Team Performance: Lotus (credits to Williams)

Worst Team Performance: McLaren-Honda
Best Overtake: Massa on Ericcson
Best Moment: Alonso's radio
DRS: Way too strong.
Tyres: OK.
And the race in a sentence... Could have been better. We were robbed of a Vettel vs Merc battle.

3/10 Abysmal GP. 4/7 boring races this year. Rossichello following Hamilton around without even trying a move. Fuel saving galore (if only we had a SC so they could save a bit). I'm not a McLaren fan, but this is to painful to watch.

"Lewis, 50m L&C"

"Lewis, 100m L&C"

Yay...!

Best Driver Performance: Hamilton - No one really stood out this weekend, as it is when it came to qualifying and race day Hamilton didn't make any mistakes.
Worst Driver Performance: Grosjean - Cost himself a large points haul, all he had to do was stay to his line.
Best Team Performance: Mercedes - Every other team seemed to have at least one car that didn't perform well.
Worst Team Performance: Mclaren - Track highlighted everything wrong with their car.
Best Overtake: Massa on Ericsson
And the race in a sentence... 7/10 - Sorely lacking a battle for the lead, but the midfield provided some entertainment.

Best Driver Performance: Hamilton. Special mention to both Williams, Kvyat and Hulkenberg
Worst Driver Performance: Kimi, Ricciardo. Grosjean was pretty foolish too.
Best Team Performance: Mercedes
Worst Team Performance: Mclaren
Best Overtake: Massa on Ericsson
Best Moment: Probably the overtake. Team radio was interesting too
DRS: Meh
Tyres: Too durable

6.5/10 (Voted 7). Hardly a classic, but not as bad as people make out imo.

Best Driver Performance: Vettel, Bottas, Maldonado & Massa
Worst Driver Performance: Grosjean & Kimi
Best Team Performance: Lotus & Williams

Worst Team Performance: RBR was abysmal
Best Overtake: Massa on Ericsson
Best Moment: Massa on Ericsson
DRS: Pretty good
Tyres: Did they even arrive?
And the race in a sentence... desperately lacking SC

5/10, would be lower without Vettel and Massa's efforts.

Best Driver Performance: Vettel
Worst Driver Performance: Grosjean
Best Team Performance: Lotus

Worst Team Performance: McLaren. It was so laughably bad.

Best Overtake: Massa on Ericsson
Best Moment: Massa on Ericsson
DRS: Fine.
Tyres: Too hard and predictable.
And the race in a sentence... Wow even Montreal can't make F1 2015 exciting.

I gave it a generous 6/10, as it did at least keep my attention the whole race. But Montreal races are usually 8-9, so I'm not looking forward to the rest of the year.

Best Driver Performance: Kvyat. To only lose one position by the end with all the Mercedes cars not retiring and Vettel and Massa out of position, was a very good showing.
Worst Driver Performance: Grosjean. Should have been top 5. The incident with Stevens isn't good enough for somebody in his 4th full year of F1, especially if he has aspirations to move

on to greater things.
Best Team Performance: Mercedes

Worst Team Performance: McLaren
Best Overtake: Massa on Ericsson
Best Moment: Massa on Ericsson I'd say. Both drove well.
DRS: Dirty Ratty Shambles
Tyres: Black, round, Pirelli.
And the race in a sentence...Disappointing for Montreal, but not bad.

Best Driver Performance: Hamilton - Just driving on another level. Rosberg is a very good driver and Lewis is making this look easy.
Worst Driver Performance: Raikkonen - i'm sure his pace wasn't the worst but way to throw away an easy result.
Best Team Performance: Mercedes - 1-2 race after race in a dominant fashion. Runner up Williams to get 3rd-6th from their starting positions.

Worst Team Performance: McLaren - Goes without saying. Runner up Red Bull.
Best Overtake: None come to mind.
Best Moment: again, nothing note worthy. Alonso trying in vein to hold Vettel back was fairly entertaining.
DRS: Overpowered.
Tyres: Needed more deg.
And the race in a sentence... meh. Stuff happened but nothing was entertaining.

Best Driver Performance: Nobody really stood out so I think I go with the one won, Hamilton
Worst Driver Performance: Grosjean, threw away a good result all by himself
Best Team Performance: Mercedes, I think...

Worst Team Performance: The amateurs
Best Overtake: Massa (never thought I would say that) on Ericsson
Best Moment: Alonso defending for dear life against Vettel
DRS: ****, as always...
Tyres: Pirelli, **** if they are too soft and **** when they are too hard.. In other words; incompetent
And the race in a sentence...Officially fell out of love with F1

Best Driver Performance: Vettel. Besides getting the best place he could hope for he seemed to have great pace.
Worst Driver Performance: Kimi for binning it when all he had to do was take 3rd to the end.
Best Team Performance: Mercedes hands down. Total control.

Worst Team Performance: McLaren was painful to watch.
Best Overtake: Massa on Ercisson but really for lack on non-DRS passes
Best Moment: Alonso fighting tooth and nail with Vettel
DRS: Made the back straight look like a highway
Tyres: Too hard
And the race in a sentence... Dullest Canada GP I've ever seen.

Best Driver Performance: Hamilon and Kyvat
Worst Driver Performance: Hard to say as there weren't any dire performances. Kimi And Grosjean made rookie mistakes though.
Best Team Performance: Mercedes & Lotus

Worst Team Performance: McLolren
Best Overtake: Massa on Ericsson
Best Moment: zzzzzzz
DRS: Too powerful
Tyres: Okay
And the race in a sentence... Rated it 5/10. Wasn't a classic and I thought it was pretty boring. Canada is my favourite race of the year and even though Lewis won, I thought it was a snooze fest.

Gave it a 6.

Best Driver Performance: Massa - clinical overtakes and a great job managing the supersoft tyres. Vettel did probably the maximum he could coming through the field and Kvyat did well to score points and keep Grosjean behind him.
Worst Driver Performance: Grosjean was silly, Raikkonen threw away an easy podium and Nasr had a scruffy weekend.
Best Team Performance: Mercedes

Worst Team Performance: Mclaren
Best Overtake: Massa on Ericsson
Best Moment: Maldonado finally breaking his duck.
DRS: Shouldn't be a double-zone here.
Tyres: Too hard as always this year.
And the race in a Word: Anticlimactic

Best Driver Performance: Hamilton/ Bottas
Worst Driver Performance: Grosjean/ Kimi- really blew their big chance with costly errors
Best Team Performance: Mercedes

Worst Team Performance: McLaren Honda (do Honda learn anything?)
Best Overtake: Massa on Ericsson
Best Moment: Alonso's defence against Vettel- felt it was the only part of the race he would have enjoyed!
DRS: Still way overpowered for this track
Tyres: Bit too hard- what happened to Pirelli's estimate of 3s lap time gain?
And the race in a sentence...  Not as boring as the whiners make out, plenty happened but no SC on what has ALWAYS been a fuel and brake limited track meant it went into uber conservation mode.  6/10.  Right there with the 2013 race in the entertainment stakes, which also had no SC.....

Best Driver Performance: Hamilton (pole/win, can't do any better)
Worst Driver Performance: Grosjean
Best Team Performance: Force India (with the package they have)

Worst Team Performance: That's difficult, oh wait no it isn't. McLaren.
Best Overtake: Massa on Ericsson
Best Moment: Finish.
DRS: Overpowered, but without it Toro Rosso and McLaren can't even think about overtaking.
Tyres: Too much one stoppers already this season. And we don't see better lap times.
And the race in a sentence... Filling the words until I can say: BORING!

Best Driver Performance: Bottas & Vettel. Can't fault Hamilton either, but he had Nico for close company the whole race long.
Worst Driver Performance: Räikkönen
Best Team Performance: Williams & Mercedes

Worst Team Performance: McHonda. What a farse...
Best Overtake: Massa on Ericsson
Best Moment: Groundhog escape
DRS: Necessary for non-Merc PU cars to get by Merc PU cars, but totally overpowered when used by Merc PU cars on non-Merc PU cars...
Tyres: Seemed about right.
And the race in a sentence... neither bad nor good.

Another crap race and feel like a damned fool for waiting 2 wks "next race will be awesum"..

Might try watching golf instead. Canada is one of the gd oldschool tracks, but these polished surfaces/no bumps and awkward tyres just  give me the feeling we're missing out on great races here. I mean its easy for people to say if a driver like kimis off the pace "oh hes just not motivated"..but im no ricciardo fan but its obvious hes a raging bull of a driver and fully motivated, yet this race hes totally lost. Just too many gd drivers having crap races these days, makes me think alonsos right about that "we're like airline pilots now" comment.

Ban the fancy gadjets and lets get racing flat ott all race! Gosh!

Voted 5/10.

Best Driver Performance: I'll give the nod to Kvyat for this one. Sure Massa and Vettel were solid, but their cars were capable of getting onto the podium.
Worst Driver Performance: Grosjean's move on Stevens was dumb, but not much more than that. Nobody really did a 'bad' job as such.
Best Team Performance: Mercedes, as if we needed reminding.
Worst Team Performance: McLaren, idem.
Best Overtake: Hülkenberg on Maldonado on lap 1 was a classic opportunistic first lap move. Massa overtaking Ericsson was nice, of course, thumbs up to both of them for keeping it clean.
Best Moment: When Rosberg was saving fuel and tyres so he could attack Hamilton towards the end of the race.
DRS: Dreadful, especially because it is used on both of the long straights. Here's an idea: if F1 is so desperate to keep this bogus idea around, let's make everything between turns five and nine the DRS-zone for next year. Let's see the drivers work for it.
Tyres: Same as always.
And the race in a sentence: A pretty decent race in terms of on-track amusement, but not a classic by any means.

I gave it a 6 - mostly because all my race predictions came in and I won £25. Without the money 5.

To be fair it was actually quite fun watching the Williams and Ferraris tracking through the field and fight for the podium. First time I've enjoyed getting into the strategy of a race for quite a long time.

What is painfully obvious however is how hard it is to follow a race now without paying a premium for the live timing service (which used to be completely free!). I can't even see who currently holds fastest lap anywhere, even on the BBC's live feed of the old live timing screen!

I could spend my winnings on signing up to the app.... or I could go to the pub.

Best Driver Performance: Ericsson - Some very good defensive driving, very fair in close quarters too.  Car didn't have the pace to get any higher realistically so all around a good race for him.
Worst Driver Performance: Grosjean - He had contact with another car but failed to produce enough for a safety car.
Best Team Performance: Mercedes - Pit stops were good, strategy was mostly fair and produced the best result possible.

Worst Team Performance: McLaren - They really should just let the engine loose and if it blows at least it entertains the crowd a little bit.  Plus it saves Coulthard a hand grenade or two.
Best Overtake: Massa on Ericsson - DRS only got him alongside, he actually had to work for the pass.
Best Moment: Alonso's Radio - Lately Alonso is always good for a chuckle or two.
DRS: 3/10 - Single detection zone is just plain silly, ruined several potential retakes from occurring.
Tyres: 7/10 - They were pretty good but still not good enough.  It was good to see the cars sliding around as that tests the drivers a bit.
And the race in a sentence... - Fairly standard modern era F1 race, could have been better but lets face it, could have been much worse too.

First time I haven't attended this one in 16 years, and I'm glad to see I didn't miss much. Even the historic GP cars weren't there this time as a support race, which used to save the weekend for me if the "big show" wasn't great.

3/10 for me, mostly because I love this track so much and expect great things from the racing.

Best Driver Performance: VET, though a bit sloppy at places.
Worst Driver Performance: Kimi. Spins and afterwards says, "Ferrari needs to improve in all areas". Rosberg. Can't take the fight to HAM and with that, kills all of out hopes for a more entertaining race.
Best Team Performance: Williams to say something different from Mercedes. And because they didn't f***k up completely for a change.
Worst Team Performance: Want to say McLaren but I'll sat Ferrari because of all the expectations we had.
Best Overtake: no one stood out in particular
And the race in a sentence... "lift and coast". I was zapping between this race and the X-games truck race, watching more of the latter I have to say.

Montreal is terrific, but it's not always the greatest race of the season. I think people had unrealistic expectations for the GP.

Worst Driver Performance: romain. Hit car, blame other car.
Best Team Performance: Williams.
Worst Team Performance: McLaren. I'm not sure if their failure makes me happy. It kind of does, but it kind of doesn't.
Best Overtake: that one Massa did.
Best Moment: that groundhog not being dead
DRS: set em up well.
Tyres: worked decently
And the race in a sentence...

A hamilton win is always good, but for everyone else there was Massa.

6/10 - a better race than many, though perhaps its charms weren't "obvious".

Best Driver Performance:  Tie between Alonso, for out-thinking Vettel, and Massa.  Honourable mentions to Hamilton, Bottas and Kyvat.
Worst Driver Performance:  Grosjean - made a fist of lapping Stevens, then moaned to the team for Stevens failing to disappear from the face of the Earth so he could take the preferred line into the chicane.
Best Team Performance:  Williams for an excellent return to competitiveness after Monaco.

Worst Team Performance:  Close between Red Bull and McLaren - according to AUTOSPORT last week, the McLaren is quicker in a straight line than the Renault-powered cars, but the additional burdens of lousy fuel consumption and disastrous reliability just gives them the accolade(!)
Best Overtake:  Massa on Ericsson - both gave each other room, and the result was a pure overtake.
Best Moment:  DC's comment on the Canadian national anthem on the grid. :rotfl:
DRS:  Too powerful as always in Canada - why the FIA don't shorten the first DRS zone there I cannot imagine.
Tyres:  Reasonable.
And the race in a sentence...  return to winning ways for Hamilton, disappointment from Ferrari after a strong performance in free practice, and a great circuit to usher in the mid-season high-speed venues.

tyres: ok

DRS: much too strong and having double DRS with only one detection point made it even worse, because the driver that had just passed on the long straight could pull away immediately.

Does anybody consider these kind of overtakings exiting?

DRS was sufficient in the race, you have to consider that Vettel and Massa was out of position and fighting against cars with Honda and Renault engines with substantially less power, so it made the DRS look really strong. In reality cars that had similar engine power and were on the same tire strategies did not find the DRS very effective, and that's if they were fast enough to get within the second need for DRS activation. In the end i believe if you ask any driver what they think about DRS, they would all say it's necessary in this era of F1.

I thought it was OK, the circuit was a little tired in places...but the race had some drama and no one could say it was processional even though they had a team 1-2

Terribly boring.

You can't compete in this formula unless you are owned by a PU manufacturer that is willing to invest huge amounts of money. & even then catching up is next to impossible with the tokens system.

On top of that, there is no proper racing between team mates in those teams due to them having to conserve everything tyres/fuel/engines.

This race was a perfect illustration of all these things coming to a head.

I'm not one of those people who claim they will stop watching, as this sport is my passion. But F1 is sick & it needs to get better.

Fair point, but there should have been an additional detection point (before the last corner) for the start-finish line DRS zone.

Bleah. Utterly predictable, a waste of two hours of my life.

It really takes a certain level of incompetence to make Canada boring.

Overly cautious tyre choice and fuel saving. Nobody was driving at anything close to the limit.
