Hi Everyone,

I got some aluminum tubing from spectre performance to fix a problem with my air filter and need to cut it to be an inch long (its 4 inches), will a hacksaw work for this?

Then clean out the burrs with the reamer, a touch with a file, and it will be pretty.

Take the tubing to a machine shop and have them "part it off" on the lathe - they will only charge a few dollars.

A hacksaw should work just fine for trimming your aluminum tube. Just go slow and steady. I can't imagine there is any reason the trimmed ends of this tube need to be precise. It's probably just a short section of tube used to connect a pair of plastic ducts or hoses, right?

Is the spam part the unnecessary name drop of the source of the tubing?

No, the spam part is that most of the OP's posts here can be found word-for-word elsewhere on the internet, on other forums under other names, and the responses don't make sense - IE thanking Catalina Park for linking to three other duplicated posts as if CP had answered the question.
