Don't worry I'm not REALLY back to annoy you (in fact I'm already heading off!) only to ask you this before the worlds greatest motor race which is upon us.

Simplified poll options for chassis only. You may specify number and team and engine and whatever in post

My guesses are #7 Audi in LMP1, #38 Jota Gibson in LMP2 and #51 AF Corse in GTE Pro.

Audi will win, but I hope they don't. The race needs a 'new' winner. There are only so many times you can say 'Audi win Le Mans'.
As for the GTE class, I hope one of the WEC regulars win, most obviously Porsche.

LMP1 - the 17 Porsche, it looked like it had the pace to win both races so far so it will be 3rd time lucky.... hang on, its a 24 hour race and Mark Webber drives it, no way is that going to last the distance. I vote Audi.

LMP2, Voted Oreca 05 - hopefully the #47 KCMG carwill win
(but I expect the Russian G-Drive car will actually manage it in the end (so probably should have voted Oak-Ligier)

GT - Corvette, these always look fast, especially round Le Mans.

Would love the Nissan to win, but it would take a chain of events and misfortune from the Audis and Porsches.

Probably Audi, maybe Porsche. I'd quite like Webbo to win.

Although I would like to see a Porsche victory I wont mind if Audi win as long as they have to work for it like 2011 where they only won by 13 seconds at the end and judging by how close it is between Audi and Porsche I hope this year can replicate that, although unsure about reliability of Porsche they have had a few issues in the first 2 races and especially with 8MJ so wonder how the batteries etc will cope I recall this was a problem last year. Although out of the 3 Audi's I think the #7 car is probably favourite .

Audi, Jota Zytek and Porsche 911 for me. Audi may not be the out and out quickest in LMP1, and Porsche certainly won't be in GT, but they'll be at the top a day later.

Some might find the Audi domination at the past decade and a half boring but to be honest I don't. Through the years they've won through pretty much every way going, whether through pure speed, through general strategic nous, or through outlasting faster opposition, I feel privileged to watch that team in action. And if Porsche or Toyota prove me wrong this year then they completely deserve it on account of doing an even better job rather than any bullshit equalisation.

#7 Audi. I'd love Davidson to have another go, but it doesn't look good this year, but actually as long as its a good race I don't mind too much. I'm optimistic for that, Porsche and Audi are really well matche at the moment.

Want Davidson and co to win, doubt they will though, glad they got Kaz's speed to back them up. Audi vs Porsche realistically. Nissan will have their hands full with Rebellion! At least they have someone to race this year

Porsche will have the fastest car but shoot themselves in the foot by running the car too hard and bringing on reliability issues. Toyota are going to play the tortoise and let the two faster teams see if they need more time in the pits due to problems, but ultimately they'll fall short as the number 7 Audi romps to victory.

LMP1

1st - #7 Audi

2nd - #1 Toyota

3rd - #2 Toyota

LMP2

1st - #38 Jota Sport

2nd - #47 KCMG

3rd - #26 G-Drive

GTE Pro

1st - #97 Aston Martin Racing

2nd - #95 Aston Martin Racing (The Dane Train)

3rd - #92 Porsche Team Manthey

GTE-Am

1st - #98 Aston Martin Racing

2nd - #50 Larbre Competition

3rd - #77 Proton Dempsey Racing

voted Audi, Ligier and Corvette. Audi because the're only slightly slower than Porsche but they can count on the Audi experience...

Ligier because they don't want to loose again like last year.

Corvette because I love those cars...

I have this weird feeling that Toyota could nick it. Maybe it's just a bit of wind.

Audi & Porsche will be too busy with each other to notice. However, having a 3rd car each for insurance will probably mean the best Gazoo can hope for is 3rd.

Love the optimism from the 4 people who voted Nissan. Anyhow, think we will see a great battle between Porsche and Audi, but in the end Audi will win. Hopefully i'm wrong. Don't really know with LMP2, could be anyone but the G-Drive's are looking strong. GTE-Pro, Aston Martin should get it finally but I think it's going to be Ferrari.

Oh and I am really looking forward to this, Silverstone and Spa where great to watch and well it's Le Mans.

I think it's going to be a great race, none of the 3 main manufacturers have been bullet proof this year, and as Toyota pointed out yesterday when they effectively threw in the towl, last years winning Audi spent 25 minutes in the pits with turbo problems. I'm hoping for a Porsche win, preferably the 17 and preferably in a tooth and nail fight with the other cars from Porsche and Audi, maybe Toyota if they get a good run.

LMP2 wiill probably come down to one of the 3 main Oak cars but I'd love to see the Dome get in there now that they've switched to Dunlops and TDS seem to have got a good hold on their new ORECA 05, probably more so than KCMG have.

GTE-Pro, I'm hoping for Aston (anything but the art(less) car) but Ferrari, Porsche and Chevy will be in the fight,

GTE-Am, either Larbra Corvette or the Riley Viper. Probably going to be the 99 Aston given the joke that is Lauda as a silver and not gold rated driver.

Oh man, the votes for GTE Pro are pretty close with the exception of Porsche, which is way behind. NEVER underestimate a GT Porsche, especially with a factory team. They'll win by 4 laps just to spite us.

First retirement? Almost definitely the Kolles car isn't it?

How many 'incidents', that make it to the screen, will Tracy Krohn have?

I'm gonna say an optimistic - 6.

To be fair, he's gotten a lot better in the last couple of years, but the prototype thing is still pretty new for him. He'll probably punt the GTE Pro-leading Ferrari at 2 AM.

Gimi Bruni had quite the crasher reputation for a while too, but he's cleaned up his act and has won 2 of the last 3 LMs in class.

Hope: Porsche. Be cool to see Webber's car win.

Expect: Audi. Any of them. They're very quick again this year (if not a match for Porsche in quali) and probably have the advantage of better reliability at this stage.

Can't see Toyota being in the game unless there is crazy weather/incidents or reliability problems for Audi and Porsche. They just don't seem fast enough this year...although, then again, we said that about Audi last year and look what happened.

Nissan...well, it'll be an achievement to even have one car running at the finish I suspect for this year.

I'm gonna call a clean run for the Krohn car... Tracy has improved over the years.
