Are they showing Indy Lights on TV in America?

Every restart somebody spins off coming to the green flag. Nelson hasn't really been fast but is already up to 3rd

Yes. Livestream from Indycar is at racecontrol.indycar.com
Looks like Spencer Pigot is still leading comfortably.

And yet Jones is now third. Piquet out. Seems Kaiser hit him before T3, though I couldn't see much of a contact on that replay

Probably a brush of the left rear, maybe a bent suspension part.

No safety car, unlike other series I could mention...
Which is nice...

These cars have good on-board starters.
Spencer Pigot has put on a masterclass this weekend.
Jack Harvey seems glad the race was shortened, said it was very tough conditions in his post-race radio interview.

Sometimes my mind scares the crap out of me. Seriously, I wonder how people like me are even allowed to have an imagination. Perhaps a coincidence of falling asleep with John Hindhaugh's unusual metaphors in my ear as 'that other race' in France ticked down to its rainy conclusion, I was treated to an 'unusual' dream last night: in place of the national anthem preceding this afternoon's Indycar race, our pre-race celebration of Canada in Toronto involved Barack Obama singing and playing lead guitar to this song.
I love you, Indycar.
You think that's strange? A couple of nights ago I dreamt that DRACONE won the Indy 500, I sh*t you not.

Do we get a butchered US or Canadian anthem? or BOTH?

Aww yeah.

Oh, sweet Jesus! Who the hell is that band that just butchered two great countries' national anthems?

#125

Wet race. Get ready for 2 hr of safety car followed by a spin/crash within a lap of the green flags and another yellow.

Green all the way through, won by Sato after an exemplary, butter-smooth drive through the field.

Starting now.

I think it will depend on how the conditions change. If goes wet-dry and certain drivers put on slicks early, all bets are off.

good that they start early, now that the rain is moving away and the track starting to dry

Didn't he run some really Barrichello-fast laps in preseason testing?

If Detroit taught us anything, then the chaos will begin once the track improves. In the worst conditions, however, these guys have it covered.

As I said, it'll go badly if someone tries to play hero with slicks.
and somebody is bound to if it doesn't start raining again. Power fastest by far, Pagenaud now also with a similar laptime
