Hey all,

I know this is not a Forum issue, but didn't really know where else to ask ?

I've been a AS + subscriber for at least 10 years, and only renewed it on the 1st of June.

Up until this morning all was fine.

Today I logged on, and for some reason it's telling me I have no paid content.

Straight away I contacted AS, but as of yet no reply.

Is anyone else experiencing the same, or similar problems ?

It looks like your subscription didn't renew properly at the start of June.

I've sent you an E-mail with full details, let me know if you're not still using the E-mail address which you used to sign up a few years ago!

My subscription is hosed up again this year... that is all I can take from this company. You have now lost a loyal paying customer.

If the website had not become so shoddy and lame I might try to fix this mess YOU created.

Good bye Autosport...

I miss Bira and AtlasF1...

That's a shame mate.

They were really good with me, and got it all sorted out quite quickly.

This was the first time I've ever had problems, but I thought it was all handled pretty well.

The same thing happened to me in April. I contacted Autosport about it via the contact form on the web site. Never got a reply.

The most likely explanation in all of these cases is that the renewal didn't go through. This usually happens when the payment can't be processed, either because it's rejected or (as in most cases) because the card has expired.

You should receive an E-mail when this happens, and there will be a grace period during which you can enter new card details and continue to subscribe. Rather annoyingly, these sometimes get caught up in a spam filter - an E-mail from us which basically says, "please could you come to our website and enter your new credit card details" is like catnip to a spam filter.

If you have a regular subscription, you can simply subscribe from scratch when this happens. If you've got one of our older subscriptions which a lifetime guarantee on your subscription rate, you can contact me at simon.grayson@haymarket.com and I will ensure that you can continue to subscribe at this historic rate.

I wasn't very happy when it happened to me mate, but they did reply quickly so I'm surprised you didn't get any help.

Email Grayson, he seems to be Mr Fix It when this **** happens   ;)

One thing I will add is that my old card had indeed expired.

For some reason when I updated it the new one musn't have been acknowledged, so that could be the problem some are suffering ?
