When has motorcycle racing been considered as "definitely not dangerous".
Yesterday, Nepean Motor Sports Club president Roy Gay said the motorcycles would have been doing speeds of up to 120 kilometres per hour.
"It's definitely not dangerous. The onus is on the driver of course to conduct themselves properly and not to take any unnecessary risks," he said.

To be fair, the guy was probably terrified that the hand wringers would close his track and stop a bunch of people enjoying their motorsport...
I have been around the old track a few times yonks ago...so its been going for many, many years...but it don't take much these days for the NIMBYs to get their way...
