Is it gonna rain or not?
That's the qustion....most weather services predicting high chances of light showers in Qualifying and the practice sessions (and less on the race day). The official weather service of F1 Ubimet says the chances are for Qualifying and race around 35 % and the practice seassions about 20 %. To sum up: Most likely rain is in Qualifying than, but it will be just some small showers.
(I stil dont know what I should bet on the Guess the pole game)

Loads of grass and proper gravel traps, what a sight!
Yes looks amazing to see a track surrounded by green grass for once. How sad its come to that.

Got some Corona's in the fridge, looking forward to that on Sunday... If I haven't drank them all before then.

Just watching a little FP over dinner - All that damn grass! I mean what is that all about? How on earth is a car to slow down and rejoin the race after making a mistake with all that lurid green grass and gravel traps (haven't they heard of blue painted tarmac). And don't get me started on those hideous trees & mountains as a back-drop

Of all the official FIA press conferences, I find the ones with tech directors the most interesting as they're quite informative.
Some good questions from Joe Saward and as always Dieter Rencken have helped:

Read to learn about the views of Renault's and Ferrari's engine bosses and tech directors such as Pat Symonds, Paul Monighan and James Key.

I hope it's a wet race finally.

Key on right is in approximate pace order.
On the soft tire stints I had Raikkonen about 4 seconds ahead of Rosberg after 12 laps so Ferrari look good. Ferrari were very strong in Canada FP2 as well though but that might have been an anomaly (FP2 stints have been quite representative this year until then)

Why is that a separate thread for FP&Qualy?
Don't people pay attention?
oh wait..

Here's hoping that Hulkenberg breaks his podium duck tomorrow

Qualy is interesting, but unfortunately it didn't mix up the front of the grid that much. If we get the same people on the podium for the 6th time in 8 races tomorrow, that must be some kind of record.
Of course rain tomorrow can change everything.
