You can trust whoever you want, it is your right, but it doesn't mean that I must do the same thing. I don't know that journalist at all, I don't know if he is partial or impartial regarding this matter, I don't know if he dislikes Alonso for example. I know that he is Finnish, like Raikkonen and I know that his "information" does not match with the sequence of events. Why Ferrari don't inform everybody about it? Do they really want to get rid of Raikkonen?

well yeah, you maybe don´t know him. Oskari doesn´t dislike Alonso, or any other driver in public at least, he also isn´t big Kimi suporter. Why should Ferrari inform something? they don´t have the proofs, if the FIA guy doesn´t have proofs, why should they have? .

In the picture your provided, both front wheels of the McLaren are visible. That implies a certain distance between cars, othewise the right front wheel would be hidden by the Ferrari (the other alternative would be that the McLaren is no longer behind the Ferrari but practically alongside).

To me it looks like the right front wheel of the McLaren is partly hidden,  if there is any distance between the cars, it is extremely tiny.

Anyway, looking at all the grainy videos too, the distance between the cars is about zero, then it suddenly increases as if the Ferrari accelerates or the McLaren slows down, then the distance shrinks, Alonso tries to pass and then the crash.

Maybe new better pictures will appear.  I am personally only interested in what really happened, not who is to blame.

edit:  When looking again at the picture, maybe the Mclaren right front wheel hits the left rear side of the Ferrari left rear wheel

The fact the majority of the discussion recently (now removed) has been about the start at Japan 2012 suggests to me we've exhausted this topic on the basis of the information currently available.

If any new information comes to light that is worthy of discussion, please do alert a mod.
