28/06/2015, an historical day in motorsport.
The first World Champion of the first full Electric Motorsport Championship was declared in a dramatic Season Finale around the tight streets of Battersea Park, in the centre of London.
It was a three way battle after 11 races around some of the most iconic cities in the world, a battle decided in the last 2 corners of the last event in dramatic fashion.
From Beijing's classic last lap drama to London's. In between 8 months of close racing, controversies, crazyness and rivalries.

Now it's time to some post-season thoughts.
Overall considerations, positive and negative aspects, things to be improved or reworked.
My picks:
PLUS
1) One of the main surprises, at least for me, was to see how Fanboost was well balanced. It gives an advantage, but the driver has really to go for it to attempt the overtake anyway.
Far from the monster thingy we were thinking about with horror before the start of the season.
We saw Piquet yesterday failing to pass Di Grassi while using it, and Buemi today didn't pass Senna at all.
2) Racing has been great. Lot of action in almost every event. Many of them were actually decided by a dramatic ending Climax, like today's London event. Also, the quality of the driving itself has been improved through the Season. In the first races we've seen major brainfades and avoidable crashes. Later on, it was so much cleaner.
3) The interaction with the fans and the openess of the Championship. Onboard laps, highlights, behind the scenes, everything is uploaded on the official youtube channel, on Twitter and on the Official Page. You have a free app, lot of features and, of course, the Fanboost to play a nice role in the race.
4) The relaxed atmosphere. I mean, everything is more open, drivers are ready for a chat with the spectators, going to sign autographs into the crowd, having jokes with each other and spending time togheter. It's a big family, and everything is much closer to the fans.
5) Dario Franchitti & Jack Nicholls are a perfect couple. Really enjoyed their comment
MINUS/HAVE TO WORK ON
1) Some of the new tracks were not as inspired as others. Putrajaya, Buenos Aires, Moscow were pretty spot on, but others like Beijing and Miami were absolutely terrible! Luckily, the racing has been always very good even in mickey mouse chicaney circuits!
2) Often the camera work was not perfect, missing a lot of key passes & actions.
3) Some bad race control situations, like in Buenos Aires where the Safety Car lost the race leaders and created the chaos
4) The ITV Studio is dull as hell, expecially with the robotic Jolyon Palmer in the way. Today was quite better, should be a good thing to go on the racetracks in person and have a live studio there!
Let's do some constructive discussion there!
