No tie breakers! Bitchin'!

* Nico Hülkenberg's third ever win.
* Nico Rosberg's 29th and Felipe Massa's 32nd podium finish.
* First win for the Hülk since Korea 2013, or Le Mans this month.
* First ever Nico 1-2.
* Season bests for Hülk, Maldonado and Merhi.
* No WDCs in the top five is quite rare.

I didn't follow voting results this year. Checked it this time and found myself shocked to see Kimi on 3rd overall before Austria. :eek:

That's just a result of the votes being very spread out this season, and Kimi having a lot of fans tbh.

Good drivers like Ricciardo, Alonso and Button are getting really low votes due to their cars being such giant pieces of crap they don't get to even show their worth - mostly thanks to DNFs. Kimi's got a good car so any time he's got a mildly decent race he's got votes.

Meanwhile there's been very few guys in decent cars that have consistently performed well every race.

humf, my simple and vulgar typo on Rosberg gave him the wrong points in the total:

Seeing Kimi in third earlier was a head scratcher for me too... This voting thing isn't flawless, but will remain my substitute until the F1 world catches up with my crazy levels of sanity and introduce actual Driver Rotation.
