I thought it was worth posting this in the Feedback Forum as so many of you who have expressed an interest in the way that we develop the site have mentioned that you have technical experience yourselves. Knowledge of Autosport.com and of motorsport in general isn't necessary for the job, but it might make the job more enjoyable and rewarding!

Details of the job (and an apply now button) appear here.

Not that I am qualified for or interested in this job, but if I have a peeve, it is job ads that give no indication whatsoever of the remuneration.  $10 an hour?  $50 an hour?  $75 an hour?

Remuneration topic is part of the interview, not the job ad.

I would not even apply for a job unless I knew roughly what the employer is prepared to pay (ideally, the range).  Utter waste of my time otherwise.

If you are interested in nothing beyond salary range, then companies will be happy you are not applying.

He didn't say it was the only thing he was interested in.

Thank you, Ross.

I didn't say or imply that, mister.

It could be the most interesting job in the universe, but if they're paying 50% or even 25% under market rates, it might not be worth applying for despite the interesting work on offer.

I suspect their pay scale is poor, if they don't even bother to say the old fudge line of "a competitive salary and range of benefits is provided, commensurate with experience".

As I said, it's a peeve of mine.
