Always a firm fixture in my calendar this event, whether competing or not (not this year sadly!) . I see Derek Bell has just been added to the  entry list driving a Rothmans Porsche 956 and Broadspeed Jaguar XJ12C. Stirling Moss usually attends of course and this year's celebrated marques are Triumph and Jaguar. There will be an RAF Lancaster flypast and Richard Goodwin's stunt aerobatics as usual.  I'll be hosting a gathering of racing Mini derivatives on 'The Flat' adjacent to the track on the Saturday, maybe see some of you there?

I understand there is a special Chevron class as part of their 50th celebrations.

It will be a great weekend, and Derek Bell as guest of honour will be interviewed in the courtyard at lunchtime. I don't think Stirling can make it this year, and sadly, the Lancaster had an engine fire earlier and the damage is more extensive than initially thought, so it's out of action for a while. So BBMF are sending a Spitfire which will be great, and Richard Goodwin's aerobatic display is always stunning. Don't forget that anyone can enter the Concours on Sunday, just tell the people on the gate that you are entering and they will direct you to the Concours car park, where Simon Taylor and James Page will do the judging.

Sorry that Saturday clashes with VSCC Oulton but Sunday sounds appealing. One of my favourite events, too.

It'd be nice to meet again Alan , hopefully we won't get any big downpours this time. I'll be with my red Janspeed Unipower GT on the flat alongside a racing ex John Handley Fletcher Ogle and Mini Jem.! Shame about the Lancaster, not bad if they can bring the Spitfire off the sub bench though!

I'll be there with the Midget & Sprite Club on Sunday. Just look for the London area MASC flag attached to the rustiest dirtiest Frogeye (red-ish with white roundels), and that will be mine. If you're near, come and say hello

Will do Gary. We're situated on the '1st Flat' and will be there on Saturday. Sunday's weather forecast looks quite moist! :well:
