thank you for your explanation, i will keep your comments in mind.

could you describe what your magic formula is for F1, please?

and you must have missed my question, when did you drive in F1?

Man... you're cracking me up here...  :rotfl:  :rotfl:

There is no magic formula.... Only irony and satire... figure it out...

problem is how twitchy the cars are at the limit and how they react over the limit.
so they have evolved into extremely fine pieces of engineering efficiency.
the tires have very good grip up to a point and then they have nothing.
you can see if a driver misses a baking point by a couple Meters they spin off.
so when the technology was not so precise the limits of the cars were less well defined and drivers could slide the cars with some semblance of control and make passes

I don't understand what you mean. The KERS system is separate from the ICE.

The ICE isn't really hamstrung either, the set rules are there for practical purposes.

Yes it is.  Given the fuel flow limit, actually a 900cc turbo engine would be sufficient, for example.

The 1600cc has far more potential than the allowable level of fuel can utilise.

an ice speedway on bikes, WRC in sardinia, motocross at unadilla, F1, motogp, sprintcar, top fuel cars, baja, bike dirt hillclimb, pikes peak, le mans, kartcross, world trials round, rallycross and petter solberg, NASCAR, extreme hill climb in Sweden, offshore powerboats, etc etc

Monaco Grand Prix?  Boring these days.  Give it a miss.

Monte Carlo Rally?  Nothing like it was.  Give that a miss too.

So it leaves the Bathurst 1000 for me! :)

Recently after Indianapolis Motogp from Andrea Dovizioso

“So I believe it is a mix of many things. On the bike, this can happen, because the riders can make a difference. Is not like in the car, for the drivers is easy to put the car on the limit, on the bike it is not like this, it will never be like this. This is the positive thing of our sport.
