So the usual questions come to mind...will Simon Pagenaud be anonymous again? What lap is Will Power going to crash on? Is our loveable Japanese kamikaze going to provide us with another moment like this:
Who will take home the ethanol fuel pump?
Last year's start from the stands:
Since it'll be hard to figure out if your picks are crashing, winning or slow when the inevitable craziness begins, here's a spotter guide: https://d1b8ufspcmik...20150714T144458

Leave Sato alone. It was the Russian teammate's fault.
Sato is faultless. He slices, he dices and he never loses his edge!

I believe it should be maize vs. maze (unless I'm missing the point of your humor):

Well done, Prost Stunningly restrained from you -- I figured you'd be all over the "Max Chilton Goes Yank" experience that just took place in Mil-hwauk-ayyy.

This baseball business is harder than it looks!
Not that he's going completely Yank... He's working his way into it slowly, like going to a baseball park... and watching footie.

Had a great time at the Newcastle game in Milwaukee yesterday. We all belted out the national anthem when it came on.

1) Pizza Ranch Lane? You know how you're familiar with three words in isolation but have no idea what they mean combined?
2) That is an insane trophy even by America standards.

A maize maze; I've heard of them, but you are wrong about me actually searching one out. Really, a racing-oriented guy going to a corn maze?! Unless they make quads available to ride it. lol

I saw Max Chiltern the other day and he's so skinny - I guess most of the drivers are... but his next stop on his USA tour should be a Mac'D or Burger King!
Nice OP btw

His next stop in my book would to be to US clothing shop, I just got back from the UK and while his sartorial choices may be all the rage in London, they look like shiite in 'merrica.
Yikes...

I'll be gigging at the Cynthia Michell in Houston where the temps are set to climb to over 105f.
So I'll DVR it on the bus and watch when the show is over.
And...
I have no corn jokes to offer.

You need a special lawn mower to mow a big corn maze. It has to be a Huskvarna.

Well, now we know how he smoked the field.
Anyone know just underweight he was? 10kg? 20kg? 8 grams?

These weird penalties are Derrick Walker's responsibility. He should have stuck to being a team owner.

Looking at hos speed I think it is closer to 20kg than 8grams.

The last times I've been with a dudette over at my place and watching races in the background was like WEC races, which are 6 hours long and other assortment of Sportscar/GT races which are long running as well. This time I have to be quick. Or wait 'til after the race, but that'll be like 6:30 am
Or I'll just me by myself and mullered. Either way I win.

I doubt it would have been significantly underweight because the cars are inspected prior to the race. I already posted about it in the Milwaukee thread.

Yeah, that Mac Chiltern needs to get a few Big Macs down him and bulk up. Typical cheating Brit, turning up in his skinny jeans and weighing less than our boys.
What an icornic thread this is turning out to be. A corn-ucopia of fun!

On a more serious note, these cars don't have power steering (not that Max should have a problem with it), maybe that was the reason for the comment? I think you'll find his opponents in Lights are handing his ass to him right now The battle for the championship is essentially down to Jack Harvey (2012 British F3 champion) and Spencer Pigot (his US equivalent). This is Harvey's second year in the series and with an established team, so in theory he should have an edge.

The jeans comment was about lacking fashion sense. Weight probably isn't the biggest factor no, but if you ask Simona De Silvestro she changed her fitness regime completely between F1 testing and Indycar.

Heading over tomorrow for practice... gonna be hot and humid- typical Iowa summertime. You can hear the corn growing!
Access is pretty good with a paddock pass- you can get up and personal and they're a little less stressed on Friday. I'll say hi to the Captain for all you guys... and get a selfie with Robin Miller !

The jeans comment was about lacking fashion sense.
Actually, it was about American fashion sense. Which might be considered an oxymoron. In the UK, one of the world's fashion powerhouses, he would be thought fairly hip.

Seriously, there's trans-Atlantic patriotic chest thumping over a driver's fashion sense? What is this, a Lewis Goes Wimbledon thread? Only Indycar.
But while we're on sartorial splendour, I'm Australian - wearing shoes is considered dressing up.

Over here he's just one of those Socialist furriners trying to take away our guns and enforce that Sharia Law.....
Otherwise he looks like anyone else over here that's young and from a metropolitan area.

I didn't make myself clear. My bad.
I meant that - thank god it's an endurance race so I can enjoy the 5 and a half hours of it that's left while she smokes her cigarres and talks about non-racing stuff.
Sting can go kiss my ass.
