Very sad news. Motor racing has not been kind to the Bianchi family.

Very sad news. Motor racing has not been kind to the Bianchi family.

Very true.  To lose two members to racing accidents is most unfortunate.  R.I.P. Jules.

Indeed. I extend my sincerest condolences to the Bianchi family.

What a cruel twist of fate that Mauro survived a huge accident himself, only to lose his brother and his grandson.

I never met him, but by all accounts a really good lad - just like his almost equally unfortunate great uncle Lucien - and one blessed with genuine talent. Sadly another example of one of motor racing's victims who didn't so much run out of skill, as just run out of luck...

Sincerest condolences to the most unfortunate Bianchi family, and to his many friends, colleagues and former team-mates...

A nice tribute, always fascinating to watch this kind of footage. All the subtitles are in French, though not all the dialogue is, not hard to understand if you're "...'ow you say?" un peu multilingual.

Adieu Jules.

Good to hear former FF1600 star John Booth on the radio; and also to see incar stuff for more than a few seconds. TV normally cuts back to some tedious overhead shot just when you start to follow the rhythm

Motor racing creates too many tears

Right now, I am so glad I got the chance to take this photo of Bianchi taking a win in FRenault 3.5 back in 2012, I just wish it could have been an F1 Ferrari in the 2016 championship..
