Simple. I like the cars this year, the lower noses and the bigger variety of colours on the grid  (2013 was horrible, a sea of grey) and still enough space for new designs, especially on the noses. So what is the best looking car, there are two polls one for the shape of the car, the other for the livery.

Love the look of the Ferrari and Merc cars.

Manor has the best livery, IMO. (Reinforced by the new blue bits added at Silverstone). Its a beauty.

Mercedes have the best shape. I pretty like the nose even if its a bit to thin, but this is the only thing I have to complain about.

Williams have the best livery: Martini always rules!

Lotus nose has the best shape but the car is too long and bulky in the back, Williams livery sucks (voted for best shape :smoking: , I like that wide nose)!

all liveries are sh*t bar the Ferrari red  halfway kidding...

McLaren car looks quite good after the nose job. even the livery fits well now.

Mercedes has the best shape.

Ferrari pre-Barcelona looked beautiful   but those updates just don't work that much neither in performance or shape wise. :well:

Ferrari livery looks awesome both on track and on tv. Next Mercs. Williams had the best one last year but this year it doesn't look that good.

This has reminded me of something. Didn't Red Bull say they'd be introducing a new livery this year after there were loads of questions about their disruptive camouflage test livery?

Toro Rosso for shape and Force India for livery. However I do like the shape of the updated Force India as well. The cars generally look better this year, whilst still looking pretty horrible.

They have, although it's easy to miss as there is no real difference.

they must have meant the tilted red bull text instead of the (much better looking) stripes on the side of the nose.

voted lotus for shape, should've gone with it in the livery voting just because of the ms lumia advertisement :smoking:  but I put that vote to red bull for the lulz.

I actually think Williams has the worst livery. White never stands out for me and those black wings are completely unnecessary when they have already 4 other colours on the car in white and Martini stripe's colours. 5 colours on the car is what I find too much and it looks "dirty" to me, especially when it's white-dominated. Like a child painting a car trying to use all of it's coloured pencils. And the flow of Martini stripe over the nosecone is just strange. I'm aware that I'm in minority of not liking it but I just find too many details of it so disturbing compared to what I was finding very clean liveries during 2008-2013.

I think I like Mercedes' shape the most and about livery I'm not really sure who would I chose the best.

The "Shape" question should have had the option "They all look the same".

Shape - Mercedes

Livery - McLaren

It was close between McLaren & Lotus for livery & the shape was a no contest really.  Worst going to all "Thumb" Noses for shape & Manor (blue horror)/Ferrari (bland, dull & boring)/Red Bull (never liked it) for livery.

Mercedes and Mercedes.

Easily the best presented and the car is a nice shape.

Quite boring though.  :p

The Ferrari livery is a bit too plain.  They should bring back Rosso Corsa and gold wheels in my book.

Gold wheels look smart on Lotus and Toro Rosso.

The "Shape" question should have had the option "They all look the same".

Except they don't. Unless you also think all humans look the same?

Anyway ... I went for Mercedes shape and Manor livery.

Mercedes has the best shape, I especially like the narrow nose. None of the liveries are any masterpieces this year, but I like the bright blue of the Sauber.

I hardly notice body shapes these days.  Since around 2008 or maybe 2010, every year it seems more and more the cars look the same.  They all look like clones of each other with minor differences.  In a high res pic on launch day, they might seem like big differences but in motion when on the track they are hardly noticeable.  The regs are very tight and the teams always copy each other so it's sort of inevitable.  A fast laptime always makes a car look better so on that basis Merc should win.

I agree they look very similar. Especially since they're all slowly adapting the 'stub nose' design. Even a few years ago they had distinctive lines, the 2011 McLaren looked vastly different to anything else that year. But it seems they have finally tightened the aero regs to the point that the cars look more or less identical.

I dislike the low noses. It makes the cars look less aggressiv. I didn't expect this because I really liked the cars in the 90's.

I disagree. I reckon if you paint all the cars the same, you could tell which is which.

They all look pretty sh*t, frankly, in both shape and livery. Ungainly and bland are the two words I'd choose.

Merc is easily the best looking car shape, followed by Lotus. I actually prefer the Lotus front but don't like the tubby *rse.

Williams has the best livery by quite a margin  . Second is Merc and third is between red Bull and Mclaren.

Mercedes all the way. It's just the Petronas-green on the rims which looks odd.

Ferrari is the only car that is a beauty every year. Seeing that red monster getting out of the pit is always exciting.

Lotus best shape, Williams best livery, I love the nose treatment on the Lotus, looks the least like a solution to a strange ruleset out of the current lot (Merc is 2nd), and the sculpting around the rear of the car is nice to my eye as well.

Even though the Martini livery on the Williams could be more dramatic (aka less white space, more color), it's still the best on the current grid. Worst has to be the original Mclaren livery. The new one is a little better.

Best shape for me is the Toro Rosso, Lotus and Sauber.

Best livery is McLaren, Sauber.

Everyone here should stop lying about the Mercedes livery. It's ****. :)
