Ahem I seem to remember Mercedes being second in the constructors in 2013 and having the fastest car over one lap for the European part of the season. Mercedes would be winning in the V8 era for sure.

But I still fail to see how that's luck. He joined for the V6 era knowing what they wanted to achieve.

Knowing what they wanted to achieve and what actually transpired is 2 very different things.

I'm sure teams like Jaguar, Toyota, Honda wanted to win things too. They spent a lot, signed big personnel too. It doesn't work that way. You simply cannot control things in future. That surely also isn't linked with how good a driver is.

LOL.  Rosburg

Tried to bully RIC off the track after Dan overtook him.

Ricciardo did not flinch.    Rosburg will think twice before doing that again.  He will never be WC doing shite like that.

More likely Rosberg didn't even know he was there. The last thing he saw was Ric overshooting, he wouldn't have expected him to stay on the road at all, let alone come out of the corner partly alongside.

It's Ric who will hopefully think twice before putting his front wing at risk again.

I disagree. I've always raced with the mantra "if they're not in your mirrors they're probably still alongside". Expecting someone to lift or drive off the track isn't advisable, as Rosberg found out.

what a great race.

slower track with passing characteristics (as opposed to Monaco)

less aero influence, more mechanical, 2 and 3 wide, yahoo

nice to see some dictatori didnt penalise for track limits

rolling start after yellow provided much excitement.

are the Ferrari's revving higher for their power?
