Best Driver: Vettel

Worst Driver: Hamilton by far. He drop-kicked a sure win into the dumpster, and only the misfortune of others allowed him such a high placing.

Best Team: Red Bull (nice bounce back)

Best Overtake: Vettel and Kimi corner 1, lap 1.

Best Moment: Hulk OK.

DRS + Tyres:

And the race in a sentence: Lots of action, no rain required.

Best Driver: Vettel

Worst Driver: Maldonado

Best Team: Redbull

Best Overtake: Ricciardo on Rosberg just for the sheer audacity of it, even though it probably wasn't wise in the end

Best Moment: Ferrari won at Hungary!!

DRS + Tyres: Ok

And the race in a sentence: Action packed, so many twists. Great race.

9/10.  Would have given it a 10 if Raikkonen had finished 2nd.

Best Driver: Vettel
Worst Driver: Hamilton again closely followed by  Maldonado.
Best Team: Ferrari
Best Moment:  Seeing both Ferrari's easily cruising away from Britney on the same tyres.

Come on people Hamilton wasn't THAT bad... one of the most dominant qualy, some great pace and with some good overtakes... yeah, he made mistakes. But I'd rather this than watching some bland driver cruising around.

Best Driver: Vettel - great start, fast and steady

Worst Driver: Maldonado

Best Team: Red Bull

Best Overtake: One of Ricciardo's

Best Moment: The first corner, it set up the whole race

DRS + Tyres: A good step between the two compounds -> strategy plays a part! :-)

And the race in a sentence: Pleasingly unexpected

I agree, but let's be honest here...

Luckiest Driver: Hamilton

Not scoring his entertainment value. Lewis dominated the weekend, but came out on the short end of the results. No-one to blame, but himself.

Best Driver: Vettel for the aggressive start and keeping Rosberg behind after the restart. I have the feeling he could have dealt with Hamilton if he had jumped Rosberg although it would have been closer.

Worst Driver: Maldonado for his collection of penalties.

Best Team: Mclaren Honda for getting both cars to the finish line at seemingly full power without their engines being on fire.

Best Overtake: One of Ricciardo's dives at T1.

Best Moment: Hamilton going from hero to zero to hero to zero to miraculously extending his championship lead.

DRS + Tyres: DRS was a bit ineffective but tyres were fine.

And the race in a sentence: Bizarre result, entertaining until the last lap and what F1 needed right now.

Unfortunately Spa now has a lot to live up to, I suspect Mercedes will be very strong there and it could be a snoozefest.

I can't help but think that maybe Bianchi's passing had something to do with the kind of race we got. So many clumsy moves and drivers seemingly not concentrating. Maybe their minds were somewhere else.

I highly doubt that. When you go over 300 km/h and nail every corner you tend to focus on that. Hell, it's even difficult to drive in a city if you are elsewhere.

Yeah but if it's in the back of your mind the whole time...when you go over 300kmph and have to nail every corner it doesn't take much and you've crashed into someone's gearbox.

Imagine it been Ericsson who locked up, ran off the road, and lost six positions – then messed up at the restart (for the second race in succession!), locking up again and running into a competitor... I'm sure we'd be hearing about how crap he is. :)

Best Driver: Vettel (Honorable mention: Alonso)

Worst Driver: Maldonado

Best Team: Red Bull

Best Overtake: Ferraris at the start. Particular shout-out to Kimi here!

Best Moment: Aaaaah! I have to choose one?!

DRS + Tyres: DRS works better at some circuits than others: this is a great circuit for DRS. Tyres were good.

And the race in a sentence: Best dry weather race I can recall seeing in a long time.

Is that sarcasm? You probably wouldn't hear about it at all. Just like Hamilton's race wouldn't quite have been so crap had he gone off at a Tilke'd corner. ;)

Which is precisely why we need gravel traps. They lead to more unpredictable racing as mistakes are properly punished.

8/10

Best Driver: Bianchi - Brought all of F1 together.

Worst Driver: Ham / Ros/ Mal - Ham made a few too many mistakes, Ros was his usual apathetic, slow & indecisive self & Mal... lets just say watch the race and see for yourself.

Best Team: Red Bull - Both drivers on the podium and no strategy or technical glitches.

Best Overtake: Alonso on Kimi - even though Kimi was a wounded animal Alonso pounced in a very poetic fashion.

Worst Overtake: Ham on Ric & Ros on Ric - Hamilton locked up and lost steering for a few meters but still a bit silly, although maybe not a drive through worthy incident.  Rosberg however misjudged it and should have been penalised but with a small time penalty or extra time on a pit stop, same as Hamilton didn't get.

Best Moment: Lets face it, without the incidents (crashes & gravel excursions) this GP would have been a bust so they get my vote.

Worst Moment: That would be the inconsistent stewards & quite pants penalties.

DRS + Tyres: DRS wasn't too effective although only the Start/Finish zone seemed useful, may as well scrap the 2nd one here.  Tyres on this track promoted differing strategies which is always a good thing.

And the race in a sentence: Incident packed race with a fairly predictable outcome after 1 lap.

I added a couple of options for balance as it seemed to be lacking.

I want some lotto numbers from you if you could predict the outcome after lap 1

Best Driver: Vettel but a mention for Kimi, Kvyat and Alonso

Worst Driver: I was going to say Hamilton but his radio message apologising to the team was a nice gesture. Really has to be Maldonado.

Best Team: Red Bull

Best Overtake: Hamilton on Massa perhaps

Best Moment: Vettel's beautiful words on team radio

DRS + Tyres: Ok

And the race in a sentence: Chaos but generally good entertainment. Some questionable driving standards so well done to those who keps their noses clean.

9/10. Best dry race in a very long time. It had this Indycar vibe which made it so exciting. People were screwing up left and right!

Best Driver: Vettel, Alonso, Kvyat.

Worst Driver: Maldonado, Hamilton, Rosberg

Best Team: Red Bull, Ferrari, McLaren (the cars made it the whole distance)

Best Overtake: Both Ferraris at start

Best Moment: The whole race

Tyres: Good

DRS: Made Hamilton's recovery way too easy. With his pace advantage, he probably didn't even need it. It really has to go.

I gave it a 10/10 it had everything I had hoped for and delivered a crazy result.

Best Driver: Vettel, he got the start perfect, made it past both Mercs and be was peerless out front, not making any errors and when the SC took away his advantage, he drove brilliantly to get out of DRS range and get the victory.

Worst Driver: A close one between Lewis and Pastor today with Pastor edging it for just being incompetent and brainless, 3 penalties in a race? Come on

Best Team: Ferrari were the best team until Kimi lost his MGU-K, therefore I'll go with Red Bull who were mighty at pitstops and kept their cars in the mix and got rewarded with a double podium.

Best Overtake: Vettel at the start on Hamilton, I haven't screamed at the TV during a race in that long, I was loving that so much. Closely followed by Ricciardo on Hulkenberg, coming from so far back and making the apex and getting the move done, he has awesome feel on the brakes.

Best Moment: Ferrari's nailing the Mercs and knowing it was game on.

DRS + Tyres: DRS for this track is just right, gives you a chance into the braking zone, it isn't just a drive-by. The tyres were good too, allowed teams to push all race it seems and there wasn't that much tyre saving going on.

And the race in a sentence: More of the same please.

I have seen anywhere from three to seven penalties mentioned for Maldonado this race. Does anybody know how many it actually was?

Officially, 3.

Maybe he was under investiagation for me?

Or maybe he's had 7 penalties this season?
