I am installing an IRS and have utilized the common Porsche 930 CVs. While most road cars tend to use only one plunge CV per half-shaft I have opted to use them on both ends as per some high performance road cars.

In the case of one CV use, they are usually installed on the differential end at a specific orientation (groove on OD towards the closest end of the shaft). Of course the reason relates to the configuration and workings of the spider, cage, etc. which I don't fully understand.

If I am to use dual plunge CVs should I install them in a paired (same) or opposed (groove on OD in each case pointing to the closes end) direction? Should they dual or duel? Thanks
