Seem to recall that was not the opinion of many on here when he was racing in F1.....

Alex came to Formula One in 91, lasted to 94, been with several different teams, first with Jordan for a few races as a prize for his F3000 campaign, then had a stint in Minardi to fill in for Christian and then he was off to Lotus, scored one point but was injured in a traffic accident, came back in 94 to the same team but the car was a dog to drive.

Alex came back to Formula One on a wave of success in CART, he signed with Williams but he had a terrible season despite having some flashes of speed against Ralf, Williams didn't want him after that season. I wouldn't say his career was that great but his best success was CART in Motorsports.

Wasn't it his massive crash at Eau Rouge?

Just look at him, a guy racing people half his age and still managing to keep up or even beat them at times. Awesome news :)

Being Italian myself I consider Alex Zanardi and Bebe Vio the two best Italians alive. Both incredibly beautiful persons, inspiration for many.

I can't even start telling how moving is this photo for me. We could not have anyone more beautiful to represent us.
