Reviewing post from last year about Verstappen made clear to me that many of us had a opinion about this youngster.
against:
- He is to young
- To less experience
- Not living up to expectations
- Not worth the hype
- Sainz would win the battle blind folded
- Could be dangerous on track due to experience
pro's:
- The next best thing
- Will beat Sainz while driving backwards
- Would do way better as expected
- Experience will not be a issue
- Could score a podium or even a race win
This is not a comparison for Max vs. Carlos.
But please tell me what were your thoughts back then before the season started and what do you think at this moment?
To me Max did better as expected. Being at the same level as Sainz from the first moment and now slightly being better is something I expected halfway and at the end of the season.
