This felt like a bit of a fluff piece (Sorry Mark).

It was subtitled: MARK GLENDENNING looks at why he's going and whether expectations on him were ever fair

And yet after reading, there was still no explanation for why he resigned. There was not really much discussion on the expectations angle (other than, the author hoped he would fix everything / bring more race cred to operations).

After reading, I still have no idea what's going on as a casual fan.

Shouldn't a publication like Autosport be able to get an interview with Derrick, someone in the series, or just some choice quotes on wtf is going on?

Regards

Glendenning has been quite critical of Derrick Walker's department (and thus his decisions) several times, especially when it came to technical irregularities. So why is he suddenly defending Walker?
