The three 1968 Holden Dealer Racing Team HK Monaros predominantly carried the branding of the three participating Holden dealers and Scuderia Veloce. However there was a Castrol roundel on each front guard and the word FLEETWINGS on each rear guard, Was FLEETWINGS associated with a Castrol product or something entirely different?

Fleetwing was the brand name used by Boral when it entered the retail petrol business in the late 60's. It was, IIRC, a discounted fuel sold through their own service stations around Sydney and began with huge marketing campaign, but failed to survive more than a couple of years. Someone may have the full story. It is highly likely that they would have had their name on the Dealer Team cars.

I have a feeling that Boral was starting to build up the Fleetwing petrol brand during 1968 when they merged their oil business with Total at the start of 1969 and then Total took over the marketing.
