I'd like to see Indycar on this layout. Very zippy and flowing.

I just found the race to see that it Hertz.

I remember when people hacked ICR2 and NASCAR tracks together.
NASCAR at Laguna - No.
Indycar on Watkins short course - Jesus, that's fast
Indycar on 1.5 high banked ovals. Fuuuuuuuuu....
Indycar at Talladega - The car spun every corner, it made no sense to me.
Indycar at Indy - So so nice.

LOL at Smith going after Dillon. Boo to those crewmen that broke it up
Posted 09 August 2015 - 00:48
Lots of Chevys up front for the start of tomorrow's race . . .
Posted 09 August 2015 - 00:54
Did you guys know Logano and Keseloski are in Sharknado 2?
It's on TV here. Brad dies.

Nah, I had the car trimmed at Taladega. Turn 5 was the tricky bit, he rest was a high-banked bore.
On the other hand, there was a short track (Bristol?) that was flat out nuts!

With both drivers involved in a championship battle, Smith vowed Dillon and the #3 team would not win the XFINITY Series title if he has anything to do with it. "I guarantee you, I may have lost the championship today, but he sure as hell did, too," Smith said of Dillon. "There is zero chance that 3 car wins this championship, and I'm going to make sure of it."

Back from MotoGP at Indy. After 33,33% of the race, I see that I didn't miss anything.
Posted 09 August 2015 - 19:08
Aren't they able to remember the names of the drivers ?
What is up the 11 hitting the 5, etc. ?
Posted 09 August 2015 - 19:10
Still better than A1GP in which the cars were referred to by country.
Posted 09 August 2015 - 19:12
The silent onboard under yellow are pretty zen.

Really ?
...maybe I have watched too much football to be bothered with that too much.
I just keep getting annoyed by such lazy reporting by just naming numbers.

It's not really lazy. It's the way it has been for many years.
Besides, the numbers in NASCAR are far more synonymous than they are in F1. The majority of NASCAR fans know the drivers by their numbers. The 11 is Hamlin, 5 is Kahne, 14 Tony Stewart, 18 Kyle Busch, 48 Jimmie Johnson, 88 Earnhardt Jr etc...
Posted 09 August 2015 - 19:43
That was a bit Wacky Races.
Posted 09 August 2015 - 19:47
I am way more fine with number. Seriously, if people would have 44512 instead of a name, I wouldn't f forget them.
Posted 09 August 2015 - 19:48
Aaaaaaand AJ is in trouble. Great.

It still comes of as lazy, as if fans aren't able to tie names to numbers, so naming names should be enough. Talking about names and numbers the way they do, it's just as if they think the fans have very limited cognitive abilities.

At this rate, it'll finish when the sportscar race at Road America will finish.

"I don't like it, so it's lazy and should be different."
As far issues NASCAR has, what commentators refer to drivers as really isn't one.

I don't know because I'm counting the commercials.

I know how NASCAR fans are looked at, but this way they are just reaffirming it.

That's a bit harsh. It's a North America racing thing to reffer to a driver by the number of their car. MotoGP does that too.

OK, so it's just American race fans, but that still doesn't leave me with a different impression.

Nothing probably, because most of them don't even know about F1.
