anyone from Germany a C-3 racing fan?
I need some help, I have some questions about how the ADAC operated in Germany in 1971, I have the car that won the 50th anniversary race at the AVUS in Berlin but am looking to ask some more technical questions of someone who actually raced a Corvette back then or was part of a crew on a Corvette back then, can anyone help me? below is the car from 1971 driven by Curt Wetzel....thanks in advance

You are probably aware of this, but there are a number of photos of that Corvette here, third row down, click the photo & scroll through using the arrow at top right.

Those - and the colour one in the OP - are from the Norisring.

The ADAC was in 1971 (and still is) one of three automobile clubs in Germany that organized races; AvD and DMV were the two others and they formed an association called ONS back then (DMSB today) as common German representative at FIA level. But in how far should that help ?

Curt Wetzel was an American PanAm pilot, temporarily based at the time in Berlin, who is reported to have brought his US-prepared Corvette by ... PanAm, of course, to Germany. Thus, there was no German involvement AFAIK.

I understand that a lot of searches in Germany have gone nowhere - for obvious reason because Curt may certainly have returned to the States after a couple of years.

Have you been in contact with the NCRS team taking care of some ex James Garner Blue Duck Racing Team cars?

Here is a pic from the Motorshow Essen, 2013.
