So Paul you're our Scott Dixon for this year. Very well done.
I managed 18th after missing a few rounds, which makes me the Ryan Briscoe of the board.
Who's everyone else's equivalent drivers?
Some guy saw me in my JPM t-shirt on Saturday and was apparently a bit of a JPM fan himself, and seemed to be looking for some mutual support because his son was a Rahal fan. I was tempted to say that I thought Dixon would win it, but for some reason I didn't. Wish I had now.
This concept I like very much!
I'll call Scott to arrange limo time and champagning.

There's worse people to be, I suppose.

I guess that I must be Paul Tracey ...... retired and we share the same hairstyle and attitude. Also I kinds ski like he drove, and have the scars to prove it.
Edit ... sorry, messing with the settings, didn't mean to shout.

6th? Looks like I'm RHR. Kinda not really appropriate with the final-race slump.
5th makes me Helio. "Eet ees what eet ees."
Looking at the overall standings world-wide I find that I have come joint 666th (actually 668th on the tie-break). But there is one player who must be feeling Montoya-esque - whoever it is who entered as RACERX. He was leading the table for quite a bit of the season and ended up being beaten by 1 point!

So I missed out on this whole fantasy indycar thing, but the amount of fun you guys had with it has convinced me I need to get in on it next year, even if the #indyrivals hashtag I see all over race broadcasts annoys the hell out of me.
Hypothetically speaking, if I'd joined this year, participated in the first 5 rounds while making absolutely 0 impression with laughably bad picks, and then vanished entirely from the league with no hope of returning, who would that make me?

I must start reading the minutes when I've missed a meeting.

Took me until about three races ago to work out that when people were saying 'Here are my picks', they weren't just saying 'Here are my picks that I've chosen in my mind and I'm telling you about'.
No apparently there was a fantasy league.
I must start reading the minutes when I've missed a meeting.
Exactly. I didn't know if it was some forum thing where one person kept track and scored it, or if it was an "official" thing through the fantasy thing on the indycar website. The whole thing seems way more entertaining than fantasy football in any event, I'm in for next year.

Its the first "official" league I've participated in and I liked how it was set up. Pick four drivers (you had to pick four) with a cost assigned to each, keeping the total to $100 or less each race. You also picked a race average speed for tiebreaker purposes.
The only glitch I saw was when a last minute driver substitution was not reflected in the choices.

It was an official sweepstakes, in which the participant with the most points at the end of the season received a VIP trip for two to the 100th Indy 500. By the NOLA race it became overwhelmingly obvious why they advertised it as a 'sweepstakes'.Exactly. As far as celebrity go, I have absolutely NFI who 90% of them are. "Doug Boles" who the fvck he? Sounds like something you'd buy at a pet store to put kibble in for the pooch.
