Driver thread.....But I doubt it, such things may occur when his career is complete, but not at the end of the year.

I think they knighted Stewart at the end of his career. Obviously the three titles were the main reason, btu I don't think they will knight Lewis before he retires.

Woul dbe funny though if he was knighted now and would also receive an honorary doctors degree. What would they call him then? Is it Sir Dr Lewis or Dr Sir Lewis?

Before locked: No, I dont think so. Stewart was knighted not just because of his 3 titles but also because he contributed to the safety of his sport. Has Lewis something similar to offer? Furthermore Jackie was knighted after he retired, hopefully that will not happen any time soon for Lewis....

Sure will be closed as the guy is just a F1 driver and a 'normal one at that' and dose not deserve it as he has done nothing that a bloke down the pub cant do.
