Will the little girl make him even slower?
However, there are more important things in life than race victories or WDC's - one of them being children. Hopefully, Nico'll find the time to watch her grow.

Born under a supermoon, I just hope they don't name her "Sturgeon". (j/k)

I care that forums and people seem pre-occupied by what is tabloid nonsense. Nico's penis works everyone. Congratulations to him and his wife.

So anything that happens off track for a racing driver unrelated to their career is not something you're remotely interested in? Maybe you should go post something similar in the MSC injury thread?
I'm not defending tabloid journalism, but something saying "Congratulations on the birth of (famous driver)'s child!" doesn't seem to remotely approach the level of excessive interest people display towards pop/movie stars or the English royals.

if there was a thread for every race driver who had a kid then the forum wouldn't function as a motorsport discussion group.
I think unknowingly, there's something a bit sinister int he way we celebrate the birth of 'famous' children. It puts a spotlight on them that when you see how paps work, you'd understand why these kind threads feed a cultural narrative that is harmful.
Racing driver has kid is not a story. It's the most common aspect of human life. It's like me postign a thread saying "Congrats to Lewis for getting over his cold symptons". For a motorsport forum to have a thread dedicated to one of the most predictable parts of human life is weird.

There's a thread dedicated to Kimi vs. Vettel, and like a married couple having a child, it could be argued that Kimi's absolute demolition is one of the most predictable parts of human life.
Seriously, fair enough. I don't idolize celebrities but I guess I've grown accustomed to people going ape over their personal lives and tolerate it without analyzing it. At least my wife knows who Lewis Hamilton is purely because of his dating history.

What about the "Button and wife gazed" or "Kurt Busch and his possible international assassin girlfriend" or "Is his personal life affecting Lewis driving" threads?if there was a thread for every race driver who had a kid then the forum wouldn't function as a motorsport discussion group.

Alan Jones definitely is.
Anyway, while this is of course nice for the Rosbergs, it's going to force the paddock press to talk about something else in Italy. Whatever shall they think of next?
