I am looking for any archive material relating to the cars built and campaigned by Charles and Stephen Beattie of New Zealand. Any photographic or printed reports of their racing activities between 1959 and 1970 is welcome especially any reference to the 'Beattie Ferrari' which May have run at Ardmore and Teretonga Park Between 1960 and 1970. Anything is of interest Photos, Race programs, news paper reports, anything!

The Beattie Ferrari isn't listed in Vercoe's "Historic Racing Cars of New Zealand", nor any car described as a Beattie. Could they have used another name? Ardmore was last used in 1963. I have no information about Ardmore or Teretonga events but do have full entry lists for all Levin meetings. Levin is 300 miles nearer to Teretonga than Ardmore.

I have recently picked some 400 original photos and transparencies of motor racing in NZ but going through them most seem to be the 1950's.
Some go back to 1948
I am scanning them at present
