No, I don't think so. Renault will likely buy them, there's just a bit of financial brinkmanship going on with Bernie and his CVC cronies.

In the medium term I'd almost say we are more likely to lose the Red Bull teams.

They will be saved. Most likely by Renault. I can't  see Bernie letting this team sink. I think it would make fans resent the current formula even more if we lost this historic team.

Shitty regulations.   . Cannot lose them, when they are clearly interested in staying.

Renault will buy them. All the bluster is what's called negotiating.

Bernie chipped in some money to help them recently, don't think they're going anywhere just yet.

But they're effectively negotiating with Bernie, and when did he last cave?

With Bernie, you never can tell. I'd be disappointed if they collapsed but not surprised.

How would it help if Renault bought the team? Would they not quit after a couple of mediocre seasons? 2017 regulations still in the hatchery. Atleast Renault and Red Bull can look forward to it as a final year before they depart.

F1 has lost numerous historic teams in the past. Even the actual Lotus team, not just this bastard child. Bernie even let his own Brabham team go to the wall. And Bernie has never cared for the fans so their opinions don't count.

The facilities are too good to remain unused. Wether the Formula 1 team survives is a different question. I get the impression that the team owners only keep the team alive until Renault makes a decision.

When he gave that German bloke a $100m backhander?

With the chance of both Red Bull and STR being without engines combined with their previous threats to quit, can Bernie risk losing Lotus?

The whole thing is tiresome.
