Toyota might as well give up if they don't win a championship this year

btw, NASCAR special events on Real Racing 3 featuring Richmond as the track.
I'm not affiliated, just saying.

Five drivers who qualified outside the top twenty finished the race in the top ten. How 'bout them apples?
Two of those were Gordon and Junior. Maybe, just maybe, the Hendricks boys used Richmond as a beta test for their Chase secret weapon.

I live close enough to the track that I heard the engines on Saturday, otherwise I would have forgotten that NASCAR is in town. I'd actually like to try to go next year just for the experience. How did the crowds look on TV?
I'm big into cycling and our little city is preparing to host the UCI world championships beginning this weekend, so I've had my head buzzing with spandex and shaved legs rather than race fuel. Next year that won't be an issue.

Wait, Clint Bowyer is in the Chase? Pfffffff.
And Newman again. And Menard, hah!
At least I am ok with Gordon and McMurray.
Now that the Chase is on, will there be more action in the Napcar threads pretty please...
Posted 14 September 2015 - 21:17
I ain't startin' no mo' damn NAPCAR threads. It's down to y'all.

I'll do Chicago, that city has some fine black metal. And they're the Stanley Cup champs.
We need some damn hype for the Chase, even if it is the Devil.

Sparse. You shouldn't have much trouble getting a ticket.

I wish i was into indycar for the last 2 years they held it there, I went to the Truck races.
I would go because I live a Half-Hour away

Anybody willing for a Chase Grid Challenge game? NASCAR.com links to the these two:
http://fantasygames....m/chase/#/picks
https://gridchallenge.nbcsports.com/
The nascar.com one allows creating own leagues, I couldn't find that in the nbcsports.com one.

I did a "Mario Andretti Experience" thing at RIR last year given to me as a gift, they gave me a ride in a 2 seat "indy-style race car" around the track. Very fun, actually. No idea how fast we were going, but it gave you a good idea of just how strong the cornering forces are on a banked oval. I was surprised how smooth the track surface was.

That is one unexpected Winner

Of all the Gibbs cars to win, Hamlin I figured was the least likely. Standings has gibbs top 4 with at least Denny going through.
