Extremely boring race with the winner having everything under control and sandbagging massively for nearly the whole race.

Best Driver: Vettel
Worst Driver: Verstappen
Best Team: Ferrari
Best Overtake: Nothing really stood out to me.
Best Moment: The end.
DRS + Tyres: Neither mattered since nothing really happened throughout the race.

And the race in a sentence: Boring and fairly processional, but it was nice to see different drivers on the podium for a change.

No Mercedes domination and still a borefest.

SC made it a little bit interesting = 2/10

2/10. Rubbish. Total utter shi* - coming from a Ferrari fan.

I cannot remember a decent race around here.

Rated it 3/10. I figured I'd answer some e-mails during the second safety car and found myself only looking up a couple of times before the race was finished.

Best Driver: Daniel Ricciardo. Comfortably held off the Ferrari of Kimi Räikkönen.
Worst Driver: Romain Grosjean. Looked defenseless against the Toro Rosso rookies, complained, was forced into errors; not a good race.
Best Team: Ferrari. Excellent (near double) pitstops and a very fast car.
Best Overtake: I recall Pérez doing something noteworthy earlier on in the race.
Best Moment: Mercedes looking at 'opportunities' after Hamilton had fallen to the back of the field. Taking Hamilton's #PositiveVibesOnly to heart, I guess!
DRS + Tyres: DRS is terrible (Grosjean vs. Alonso) and the tyres seemed very fickle. Not good for a spec-part.
And the race in a sentence: Dreadfully long safety cars ruined any strategic element that could have made this race interesting. There is a place for tracks like Singapore on the calender, but the safety cars need sorting out.

Best Driver:  Vettel
Worst Driver: No one stands out. I'll go with Button as he was far off Alonso and crashed.
Best Team: Ferrari
Best Overtake: Verstappen on Grosjean.
Best Moment: The restart after the second safety car. Utter chaos.
DRS + Tyres: Just about the right amount of tyre wear.

And the race in a sentence: Where was Mercedes?

Worst Driver: Verstappen

Why? Unless the start was his fault he drove a great race. Great pace and many ovetakes.

Best Driver: Vettel- superb weekend
Worst Driver: Kimi- he's not Vettel class, but he really shouldn't be that far off; a continuation of 2014.
Best Team: Ferrari
Best Overtake: Verstappen on Grosjean
Best Moment: Hamilton's pace after Kvyat pitted. Well it gave me some hope anyway. Otherwise, JB's numerous quips over the radio.
DRS + Tyres: Back to lottery tyres? SC tended to negate any wear issues.
And the race in a sentence: Standard F1 race- not a lot of action at the front, but plenty of scrapping further back. 6/10

Best Driver: hard to see past Seb, controlled the race from start to finish.

Worst Driver:

Best Team: Ferrari

Best Overtake: Can't recall an edge of the seat pass.

Best Moment: switching off at the end. Roll on Suzuka.

DRS + Tyres:

Roll on Suzuka, easy to see why BBC don't bother with this one.

Best Team: Ferrari by default I guess
Best Overtake: Verstappen on Grosjean
Best Moment: NO!!
DRS + Tyres: Meh

And the race in a sentence: 5/10. Very pedestrian but it was nice to see a master in his element.

I don't exactly disagree with your opinion, but certainly question whether the rating would've been the same had the winner been somebody else (and somebody especially).

Regardless, it's easy in hindsight say that not much happened, even if there was suspense all around (from e.g. another safety car; a much bigger risk than most places).

Exciting for some championship drama, but that's about it. The Toro Rosso guys were plenty entertaining, too.

Vettel's wins this year have put some of his past feats into a different context, I think. At least for me, anyway.

I gave it a 6 but that's me being pretty generous.

Best Driver: Vettel
Worst Driver: No-one really stood out
Best Team: Could be said that Manor maximised their package the best out of anyone this weekend
Best Overtake: Sainz on the Sauber (Nasr?) into T1
Best Moment: I did giggle when Verstappen screamed "NO!" on the radio
DRS + Tyres: eh

And the race in a sentence: Potential for strategy variety and intrigue ruined by inopportune (and overly-drawn out) Safety Cars,

Best Driver: Vettel

Worst Driver: Nothing special. Grosjean or Hulkenberg had a bad day in the office.
Best Team: Ferrari
Best Overtake: I do not remember one.
Best Moment: Vestappen being Jos + Clash of Irish and Finnish humor on the podium.
DRS + Tyres: Not important.

And the race in a sentence: Surprisingly fairly processional without Mercedes dominance.

Why would you ever vote below 5 is beyond me.

Was a great comeback drive from Verstappen but Vettel dominated this event and shook up the championship a little.

Interesting to see the votes. So I guess the best car wins by default. Hamilton did no wrong either.

6. Vettel gift wrapped the victory by 2 well timed safety cars and a hapless teammate. Hamilton unduly stopped in his tracks for what could've been a great podium.

"I HATED IT BUT GOD DAMN, I STILL WATCHED IT AND REGISTERED MY DISGUST ON THE INTERNET!"

Why is it so hard to imagine? When the race unfolds as it does today, with disruptive safety cars, unimpressive driving standards, almost no meaningful variation in strategies, no real excitement as to who was going to win, and generally slow cars (1:43.885 pole versus a 1:50.041 fastest lap) it adds up to a pretty unimpressive event. Subtract a point for the race control's handling of the safety car phases and I end up with a 3/10.

Ten point scales on the internet have been problematic for decades at this point, but let's not forget a 6/10 is a passing grade in almost all schools and colleges. As such a 6/10 is an average and enjoyable race for me.

Never a favourite race with me, fairly boring and I ended up going out to mow the lawn mid race to break the tedium, if anything is ruining F1 its shitty races like this, limited overtaking , squirt and go layout plus the 100% chance of a safety car. In the words of a football pundit" couldn't end soon enough"

It's Singapore. Boring for about an hour and half and then there's action everywhere.

By watching the first half and deciding to mow the lawn later on you show your lack of knowledge and understanding of F1.

Glad you think so but unfortunately weather gaps and the need to make a house presentable for potential sales far outweigh the need to sit riveted to a procession in the hopes something happens, of course i will happily treat your opinion of my utter lack of F1 knowledge and priority with the weight it deserves, boring race as per usual for the track and the sooner someones sees sense and drops it for a track where drivers can overtake and there is actually more entertainment than a random muppet wandering onto the track the better,

5/10, if only for the random element of the chap on the track.

Best Driver:  Can't really see past Vettel.  Verstappen would have been a contender had he not ignored team orders, irrespective of how unreasonable they were - you argue that one afterwards.
Worst Driver:  Hulkenberg - rare error from him, but I don't see what he expected Massa to do, other than vanish.  Dishonourable mention for Maldonado for not accelerating on the exit of a corner.
Best Team:  Ferrari; they didn't do anything incredible, but no-one else really stood out.
Best Overtake:  Verstappen on Grosjean.  Anyone who denies that the boy has talent is either an idiot or
Best Moment:  Button's humorous comments after finding Maldonado nearly stationary on the exit of a corner.

And the race in a sentence:  Despite EJ's witterings, the Singapore circuit is a lousy one for contemporary F1, changes notwithstanding.

Best Driver: Vettel
Worst Driver: Fell asleep so not sure, but Grosjean who used up his tyres two laps before the end was really unimpressive tyre management.
Best Team: Ferrari
Best Overtake: Dunno. All I saw was due to different tyre compounds.
Best Moment: The checkered flag, so I could get out of the couch and do something useful.
DRS + Tyres: As far as I'm aware, most cars had both. I loathe DRS.
And the race in a sentence: Predictable.

Was interesting in some ways, but a bunch of safety cars, dodgy driving standards by some, no real fight at the front whatsoever - kinda dull.

5/10 - great result, but not so much racing, although I enjoyed seeing Mercedes off pace, that was 10/10

Best Driver: Vettel, have to mention Verstappen too
Worst Driver: I usually write Maldonado but he was OK today, Hulkenberg
Best Team: Ferrari
Best Overtake: Verstappen made some good ones
Best Moment: qualifying yesterday, the start, Mercedes being off pace, so many good moments so hard to say really, pure joy
And the race in a sentence: give us more results like Singapore

7/10

Best Driver: Sebastian Vettel, honorable mention to Ricciardo and Verstappen
Worst Driver: Maldonado
Best Team: Ferrari
Best Overtake: Verstappen on Nasr, and Verstappen on Grosjean
Best Moment: see above
And the race in a sentence: not much happening until the second SC, a lot of action and some good passes from then on.

Ultimately, a rather dull race. But it gives us a glimmer of hope that the final chapter of a predictable season could get a last-minute rewrite... looking forward to seeing the Mercedes' pace at Suzuka.

Best driver: Vettel

Worst driver: Maldonado, Verstappen, Massa, Rossi ... for various reasons but I can't pick one over the other

Best team: Ferrari

Best overtake: There was overtaking?

Best moment: Button's team radio

DRS & Tyres: Yes, they were both present

And the race in a sentence: Same old, same old ... the only difference is that the car in front was red, not silver

5/10
