The 18" tires look good in my opinion, as they do on road cars. The 13" ones are a bit stoneage.

Stiffer sidewalls are not a problem. Anything which makes the rear difficult to control is good for F1. They should make the front more tire, and the rear more aero.

Ah, the old wheel size debate... I won't even go in there. F1 and push bikes are different.

Wheelsize is where all science goes overboard and human's uninformed perception demands to be left alone. Science is applied to wheels as if it were the sole part on a vehicle. The whole purpose of the invention of the wheel is forgotten.

I don't think the larger rims look too bad. Perhaps they should be black by regulation?
I don't really get the need to increase the overall diameter aswell though. Surely they could 'learn' as much from a slightly scaled down version.
