OK, I'll bite.
This kind of thing usually ends up being a load of shite, culminating in an utter non-story.

Can it be Red Bull and Toro Rosso will shutdown after Abu Dhabi ? Didn´t Dr Marko say something about shareholders and the effect of RBR/STR pulling out of F1 this weekend ?
Soon we know.

The funny thing is that it was the same magazine...
My post from that thread still seems accurate:
Bernie's discovered the secret to immortality.
Or, if it's the typical "big news" story, it'll be something trivial like Ferrari having a new test driver.

Been busy working on huge news coming up late tonight. One of the biggest @F1 sports stories of the year....
It's Sylt & Reid.
So it's quite possible they tell us about the fresh egg Bernie has laid.

well, if they are deliberate about a F1 sports story then it will be interesting as to what can be big.

@FormulaMoney
Been busy working on huge news coming up late tonight. One of the biggest @F1 sports stories of the year...
Should be after 9pm.
It is not Renault.
Formula Money are woeful in the investigation and reportage of their supposedspeciality, F1 finances.
That tweet says they have been working on a "sports" story, so not finance related. Yep...because Formula Money, who are god awful, know something that NOBODY in the paddock knows and would reveal immediately?
What does "working on huge news" even mean? You don't work on news, a thing happens or is identified and the news of it starts flowing. It isn't a book. You don't write a few drafts, edit it, change bits.
What a crock. If "the biggest" thing was there to explode, it would have. Expect nonsense.

So this is coming straight from a stakeholder?
An owner is a stakeholder, I guess. After the recent tumble, you too can become an owner of the VW Group for just a little over 100 EUR.

Something major re ownership of Mclaren.
Based on:
* Like bullsh!t did Ron Dennis have flu yesterday. He was locked in a meeting/s about something.
* Not 10 months ago he took Kevin Magnussen to Denmark and made a presentation to several businesses to try and leverage funds both to get Magnussen in the car and wrestle power from Mansour Ojjeh. Today the same Ron LOVES Jenson Button, a guy he was DESPERATE to ditch last season.
* EDIT: To add this bit. Why has the Magnussen camp gone silent? There are no developments AT ALL by near enough October, for a guy who has said he WILL be racing something in 2016?
Let's be smart here, something is going on involving Ron. He's the only F1 figure conspicuous by his absence this weekend, with his return heralding him telling anyone who would listen that yes Button is staying in 2016.
Does. Not. Compute.
It's just my suggestion by the way, I'm trying to guess based on logic and current events what this could be.

It would be something if Alonso just had to make the call to Ferrari and seal the deal this way - "I'll drive it for free!". Less far fetched than some other stuff.
If I were Red Bull I'd make a fairer bid for Enstone, offer a guarantee to the tax office. Just because. Having one sets of cards extra in the game. To withdraw if not treated royally. You wanted 18 cars for 2016? Try marketing F1 with 16 cars. Oh and we're not selling any of these teams, they're for our breakaway series. Nanananana!
