I think he missed the last few posts and thinks this is a new thread. I got a "like" notification from him for the first post.

If Eurosport put F1 on a pay channel, I think I'm done with watching F1 live on television then. I used to watch at my parents because they had SportTV for the football, they're not going to subscribe to ANOTHER paychannel now. And I cannot justify/afford it at my flat unless it's like 5 euros per month or something.

I think very, very few people will subscribe such a channel too, unless it comes with a lot more interesting content beyond F1. The fanbase just doesn't exist in Portugal anymore. There's still a substantial amount of people that are vaguely interested and will watch if it's on, but to pay for a whole channel just to watch F1? Can't see many people doing that...

Great news! (and bad news if it changes again to pay chanel, lol)

Ahah.

So I missed first two races at Europort :drunk: (still watching from 2006 bbc, sky,  by net, with so much poor quality some times),   thanks for this post noikeee.

It just says how marginal f1 has become here since the move to pay chanel: nobody cares anymore. Last champion they remember is Schumacher and Alonso... Hamilton, Vettel, who?

Hoping for great show, I still remember old f1 in eurosport with John Watson as excellent comentator many years ago (90 s?)

Cheers from Algarve.

Nice to see again, after 10, years such good hd images at home tv.

But I still listen to sky... even slow old ze miguel is better than these 'funny' studio commentators.

So: tv, eurosport - phone1, sky - phone 2, chat - tablet, live timing. Lol, why can t multiwindow work flawless in android mm...

So, I'm Back to RTL on Astra 19,2 ÂșE. Hope they don't take away Eurosport 2 HD, waited so long for that.

Starting from the Spanish GP, Eurosport will now move F1 to a new channel "Eurosport 2 Xtra" (including also GP2 and GP3). Will have multichannel functionality, such as a onboard feed, a pitlane feed, and the ability to "configure your own race" (I have no idea what this means) through other devices like smartphones and tablets.

Of course, the elephant in the room for now is how much is it going to cost... they haven't announced pricing yet, but it means F1 will obviously stop being free again now...

It was too good to be true. Unfortunately.
