This is a very speculative posting, but I have just bought a Dastle Mk10 chassis no3, we like it so much we would like another one, apparently they (Dastle) made more than one, does anybody know where another Mk10 might be hiding?

It's a pity Barrie Maskell is no longer with us as I'm sure he would have been able to help.
http://www.f3history.co.uk gives some info but doesn't say how many Mk10's were built.

Barrie Maskell's website is still available via the Wayback Machine

There's quite a bit about racing the Dastle there.

Examateur racer: Can you divulge the known history of your car? E.g. owners/drivers plus years of ownership etc.

Yes I am Andy Langridge owner for two weeks, the previous owner was Graham Kiddy, to go back further I need to do some phoning up! I do know it was also on the hills.

Cirrus, a great link I can now see that Dastle built a car for Norman Pierce chassis No4-

You probably already know this, but Norman Pierce started Sparton Cars with Paul Jackson. I've heard nothing of NP for a number of years but Paul Jackson was still involved with running cars (GP2?) a few years ago.

Yes Alan I have spoken to Paul and we have all lost sight of Norman Pierce. Paul is now aparently playing a lot of golf!

Any information about who hillclimbed it would be very helpful. Plus anything earlier.
The more info you can get from your contacts the better.
