Castaing is largely correct, IMO. All the "he's just old" style comments are just sour grapes from guys who are green with envy, again, IMO.
The idea that F1 is road relevant is held by many (naive, IMO) people, yet one of his suggestions was to use 110 octane road fuel. Why all the scorn dumped on that suggestion?
He notes that F1 is being two-faced by promoting it's fuel efficiency and then flying all over the world. Well, IMO, that is obvious to just about every adult out there.
Getting rid of all the ridiculous telemetry is way over due and I thank Castaing for adding his voice to those calling for its banishment.
I've lived through many, many changes in F1 over the years and in my experience nothing matches the polarizing effect the current regulations and situation has had on fans.
