I don't understand Rossi and Yamaha, he's probably the best rider in the wet so why they don't get him in to change tyres ASAP I'll never know. He's thrown the title away this year from what I've read? I haven't seen many races this year so could be wrong.
Being best in the wet is not the same thing as being best at knowing when to change to slicks and, if anything, could discourage a rider from making the change.

His team have all the information though, last year they were poor during this circumstances too...

EE have given mobile customers 6 months free BT Sport, perhaps he's using that.

DefinitelyOne of the best qualifying sessions I can remember.
Brilliant a all round.
It's a pity laverty is (according to hodgson) off to WSB.
Ireland manages to produce 2 proper GP level riders at once and both end up in WSB...

Ducati riders are on the brink of messing up. Qualifying was never supposed to be so difficult.
I'm telling you, the GP16 is a winner in the right hands.
All they need tomorrow is a good start and to leave Rossi and Lorenzo scraping and losing time. It is no impossible task.
5th for Marquez is right where I expect him to be. All the stop and go is horrible for the RC213V.

Ducati bingo
- poor start
- Iannone does something stupid
- Dovtisioso finished 2nd

It's not obvious whether they're just making Fenati sit out this race or if it's a full blown sacking. Either way, this seems to make Fenati's move to Moto2 with VR46 untenable.
Having said that, this might be the best thing that could have happened to Fenati. A large kick up the backside could be exactly what he needed.

Unfortunately didn't see qualy, did Iannone get anything of a tow from Rossi?
Nope. No tow at all.

Or be a personal face plant. Maybe I am wrong, but after watching the videos of the VR46 team kinda show those riders to be a bit coddled. If he loses his seat, another team (if he even gets another chance) won't treat him the same. Though, if this isn't that big of an issue as we might believe, maybe Rossi is smart and make him sit and think about what he has done. A parental treatment.

Honda not looking great in WUP there, but Rossi also atypically ranking lower than he did in qualifying. Besides the Ducatis it's actually Lorenzo who impressed this morning.

Fenati what a total bellend.
I think his tenure there was likely to be done anyway. He is hot and cold and seems a little stupid off track, you don't tend to see him much in the VR46 ranch vids either much compared to some of the other kids.
What amazes me is the way they got rid of Bagnaia! He looks brilliant this year, but for Fenati to throw that away is sheer stupidity.
As for Laverty, well Norge has his own agenda too, he wanted a newer bike and wasn't going to get one, so threw his teddy's out and went for more money to a dead series, his choice not anyone elses.

Zarco is proper class, simple as that. I would be having doubts at Folger if I was Poncheral after this weekend, looked all at sea.
Awful from Lowes but interesting to hear the guys talking about possible issues in that team, they wouldn't expand but that doesn't shock me either, still think going to Aprilia was a dumb idea I am afraid.
Schrotter superb, they all act shocked, but if you had any idea what you were talking about you know this kid has been on crap bikes for years and has a lot of speed. Not a shock for me to see him finally getting some results, just needs to stop losing the tyre end of the race and be with a team who can teach him how to do that better.

Funny thing i remember most about Johann Zarco was an arrogant display at the finish line of one of the races vs another rival and lost the victory at the end, in 2011, i got the sneaking feeling it was the Misano race but i don't remember for sure which one it was.
It will be interesting to find out how good he will be in MotoGP, assuming i can see them on Youtube.

I am not so sure, Austria appears to be a really good track for Ducati and the riders, but Ducati have never been this commanding before this season. could just be one of those track characteristics that work for the Ducati. I would like to believe what you are saying, but i remain suspicious of this result until they can do it again elsewhere in commanding fashion.

The Ducati engine power advantage looks far greater than the Mercs, difference is you can actually overtake in Motogp.

It's a one off track and a one off result.
Shame Dovi did not win, not a fan of Iannone, but three things.
Stoner would have won at a canter.
Much as I hate to admit it, Marquez rode like a legend today.
Those who even try and doubt Vinales. Shut up and never speak again.
