So I read in an article that when Michael was negotiating his contract with Ferrari,he managed to get absolute control on all commercial aspects on his side and also crucualy could use the famous Ferrari logo and trademark on his personal merchendise which is apparently worth millions.Now my question is three fold:

-How does it work,did he pay Ferrari a royalty for every piece of merchendise sold

-How much roughly would such an arrangement be right now

-Does any current driver have this arrangement?I can imagine how much money Lewis Hamilton would make with the Merc logo on his stuff,or Vettel with the prancing horse.

I hope the mods dont have a problem with a Schumacher thread given the current situation he is in.Keep fighting Michael

If we assume this agreement existed;

(1) The commercial details would have been specified in the agreement.  I would be very surprised if Michael had Carte Blanche to use the Ferrari logo so there was no doubt approval and use clauses and the commercial structure to be done as a revenue share.

(2) I don't think anyone would have the leverage MS had in his day to attempt such a set-up.

(3) Not that I am aware of but I expect a few of the drivers have what are known as "carve outs" for certain aspects like hats (e.g. Hulkenberg wears Dekra ) or elsewhere where they have personal sponsors in place.
