I recently reviewed Brian Long's book The Book of the Porsche 356. I was proceeding swimmingly when on page 112, just after he said Speedster production ceased in 1958 he said Porsche made 25 more in 1959 , all 1600GTs, all only for racing. I was wondering, this is the revised version of the book currently sold, if he has come onto any forum with more information to prove this, such as chassis numbers or if anyone else remembers this? I have heard of one or two cars being made "out of seqence" such as Joe Buzzetta's car, but not 25. Are these, if they existed, the most valuable Speedsters of all besides the Carrera Speedsters?
