8/10

Best Driver: Vettel
Worst Driver: Raikkonen
Best Team: Mercedes
Best Overtake: Too many to select one
Best Moment: Same as above
DRS + Tyres: Alright
And the race in a sentence: Good race, disappointing end.

Was set up to be an interesting end before Rosberg messed up. Plus, although it has been inevitable for more than half the season, I'm disappointed the championship doesn't go on for one more race at least.

Best Driver: Sebastian Vettel
Worst Driver: Nico Rosberg
Best Team: Mercedes
Best Overtake: Ricciardo down the inside on Hamilton was crafty given the track conditions at the time.
Best Moment: The little scrap between the Ferraris and Toro Rossos.
DRS + Tyres: No comment.
And the race in a sentence: Good to see some Intermediate tyre racing, but too bad there were so many safety cars and no enforcement of track limits whatsoever (except for Kvyat volunteering).

9/10

Best Driver: Jenson Button, followed by Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel
Worst Driver: easily Felipe Massa
Best Team: Toro Rosso
Best Overtake: Verstappen on Vettel comes to mind, but there were many great ones (including Danny Ric on Lewis)
Best Moment: another difficult choice, maybe Jenson coming through and hanging on
DRS + Tyres: DRS a bit too strong on T11 straight, tyres a bit weird but not too bad in the end
And the race in a sentence: entertaining, some real racing

Best Driver: Vettel but a close call with Verstappen (also impressed with Perez and Button )
Worst Driver: ahh, could be one of a few, probably Kimi for throwing it away but several drivers would fall into that category including Kvyat but he had a great start to the race so escapes this weekend, although he did throw other positions away going off track so hmm, maybe I'm changing my mind - tough call. Going with Kvyat.
Best Team: Can't look past Mercedes - that car was several seconds faster than everyone else once the track dried up when they needed to be (such as after the safety car)
Best Overtake: So many choices but Jenson passing 2 cars was a great moment
Best Moment: Loved the Red Bull/Mercedes fight at the start - made me cheer when Ricciardo took the lead (as did Jensons fastest lap)
DRS + Tyres: OK
And the race in a sentence: Race of the season so far. Congratulations Lewis!

Why not :p

If you think I am gonna rate a race that HAM won his 3rd title in anything less than 10, then you have not been paying attention

Worst Driver: Do I have to pick just one?

Best Overtake: - Jenson's 2 for 1

DRS + Tyres: - Very good
And the race in a sentence: - Nico might of thrown a hat, but he also threw the race.

Try reading. I said they all had good races, not that Kvyat was best driver. Nice to see drivers fighting for position in trying conditions, all 4 did that.

Fair enough - you are answering the question "best driver" however, even with my inability to read I am sure you can see how there may be confusion.

Best Driver: Verstappen, Button
Worst Driver: Kvyat (too many mistakes), Bottas (for the start), Hulkenberg (3rd race in a row without any points due to his mistakes)
Best Team: Mercedes
Best Overtake: Verstappen vs one of the red bulls (Don't remember who).
Best Moment: a lot of exciting moments, can't chose one.
DRS + Tyres:.....
And the race in a sentence: great racing 9/10

Best Driver: Verstappen and Vettel
Worst Driver: Rosberg
Best Team: Mercedes
Best Overtake: Ricciardo on Hamilton
Best Moment: Verstappen fighting with the Ferrari's
DRS + Tyres: Credits for Pirelli this time: Both inters and full wets did well this weekend. DRS is always useless on this circuit.
And the race in a sentence: A 9,5/10. Would be a 10/10 if Rosberg DNF'ed 'cause than we would still have a championship fight and a rookie on the podium.

Best Driver: Verstappen. I would have given it to Rosberg if he hadn't made that late mistake. Sainz did a great job too.
Worst Driver: Hulk
Best Team: Toro Rosso
Best Overtake: Sainz on Button I think it was?
Best Moment: The drama of the opening 20 or so laps
DRS + Tyres: Ok
And the race in a sentence: Cracking race. Best of the season.

Can't quite believe people think Rosberg was the worst driver. I'd question whether these are objective ratings to be honest.

Best Driver: Verstappen
Worst Driver: A few threw it away- Kimi, Kvyat, Hulk... but mostly extenuating circumstances
Best Team: Toro Rosso
Best Overtake: Nico on Lewis- he made one stick for once
Best Moment: Nico's wobble putting Lewis in WDC position (although that was the worst moment too, as Hamilton had him within 1s and was shaping up to be a tasty fight)
DRS + Tyres: DRS a bit too powerful
And the race in a sentence: Race of the season. 8/10

Best Overtake: Way too many to choose
Best Moment: I'll go with seeing Jenson and Fernando both in the top 10 on merit
DRS + Tyres: Don't think either detracted from the racing.
And the race in a sentence: The best of 2015...so far!

I'm just watching the replay. So far I'm on lap 22 and there's been more proper overtakes and attempted ones than I've seen than the rest of the season put together. And there were plenty that they didn't catch live and didn't have time to show in replays. If that's not a 10/10 then I don't know what else could be. Race of the decade for me so far. Oh, and massive Kudos to Kimi for somehow managing to get his car out of the advertising hoarding.

So, how was Lewis worse than Kvyat ? One of them made a mistake and binned it into the barriers finishing their race, and one of them managed to keep it away from the barriers and win the race and thus the WDC. Which was which again ?

The race was fine but the championship positions have been more than clear for quite a while now. To be honest I'm following less now and I missed part of the race, lack of interest. More competition is needed, deffo.

Yea, Lewis just won the championship. Many people are not going to be objective whatsoever.

Anyways, I dont think either Lewis nor Nico were anything spectacular today. Lewis pushing Nico off the track at the start. Being slow through the early sections of the race. Then Nico throwing away the lead with a mistake later on. But they definitely weren't the worst, either. Not when others were crashing into others or into the barriers.

My rating for the race would be 9/10.

Exciting throughout, but ultimately anticlimactic due to strategy lottery at the end with the VSC and SC.

Rosberg started the race in the best car from pole. He left the circuit twice, losing crucial places both times and only narrowly beat Vettel while his team-mate drove away from him to score another win. That strikes me as a pretty poor effort.

Only one of those times going off and losing places was his fault, though.

He also had older tires than Lewis and Vettel at the end.

Just sayin.

9/10.  Battles throughout the field, some brilliant driving, some awful driving, and a cliffhanger finish.

Best Driver:  Vettel.  I was about to give Nico the award ( :rotfl: ), but he threw away the chance to hold onto a mathematical shot at the Championship.  Verstappen, Button and Sainz would have been equally deserving.
Worst Driver:  I'm tempted to say Hamilton as that was a very scrappy performance, but I don't want to seem churlish, so I'll go for Hulkenberg, who seems to have lost all the momentum he gained from his Le Mans win.  Nasr was also a candidate for his clumsy half-move on his team-mate.
Best Team:  McLaren, as they were finally competitive, though Torro Rosso have the greatest number of nominations here for good reason.
Best Overtake:  Rosberg on Hamilton showing that he can race aggressively, even if it doesn't come naturally.  Trouble was, there were so many brilliant manoeuvres that I can't really remember one in particular standing-out (not that I'm complaining).
Best Moment:  Kimi having a Gilles moment as he forced his car out of the barrier/advertising hoarding minus front wing.
DRS + Tyres:  DRS too powerful down the back straight; tyres fine, as the inters hung-on for longer than I expected in the drying conditions.
And the race in a sentence:  Best race of the year.

So you're saying (or anyone) that he was worse than Hulk, Kimi, Kvyat, the two Sauber drivers who collided or any of the others?

The leaving the circuit part I accept the second one but the first one he was pushed off the track.

Really, worst driver?

Really, worst driver?

It's all relative of course, these are all good drivers whose mistakes don't suddenly invalidate their talents and obvious skills.

But given the circumstances (car, starting position) and compared to my expectations (his last chance at staying in the WDC, his good form in last year's race) - yes, I was most disappointed in Rosberg's performance.

Great Race, couldn't ask for much more other than Rosberg not surrendering his place via an unforced error. I'm still unconvinced by the VSC though.

Yes, there were some close battles throughout the race, even a four-way battle for the lead and a surprise race leader at one stage, and there was Rosberg losing the lead with an unforced error. But there were four interruptions by SC/VSC, plenty of unspectacular DNFs, some very easy passes down the straight because of superior engine power and/or DRS, and there were the grid penalties for Bottas and both Ferraris. So it wasn't one of the greatest races ever but a 7/10.

Not sure it was the best race of the season. In my opinion, Hungary was slightly better as there was more drama and uncertainty for the win. While there was plenty of good racing here, it's a bit disappointing it still ended up a Mercedes 1-2. :p

Best Driver: Verstappen
Worst Driver: Rosberg (threw away an easy win)
Best Team: Mercedes
Best Overtake: Hamilton on Rosberg at the start (that will be controversial!!!!)
Best Moment: Button 's opportunism passing two cars (can't remember who they were).
DRS + Tyres: Should have been allowed more wets and inters for a weekend like that.  DRS rubbish as always.
And the race in a sentence:  Not bad but ruined by far too many unnecessary safety cars and virtual safety cars.

Best Team: Toro Rosso
Best Overtake: Rosberg on Hamilton
Best Moment: Kimi complaining about Max
DRS + Tyres: Shame we didn't start on the full wet, DRS was a little bit too effective but not that bad
And the race in a sentence: We needed something like that in the USA.

No race with a safety car is worthy of a good score, so I gave it a 3.
