9/10. Battles throughout the field, some brilliant driving, some awful driving, and a cliffhanger finish.
Best Driver: Vettel. I was about to give Nico the award ( ), but he threw away the chance to hold onto a mathematical shot at the Championship. Verstappen, Button and Sainz would have been equally deserving.
Worst Driver: I'm tempted to say Hamilton as that was a very scrappy performance, but I don't want to seem churlish, so I'll go for Hulkenberg, who seems to have lost all the momentum he gained from his Le Mans win. Nasr was also a candidate for his clumsy half-move on his team-mate.
Best Team: McLaren, as they were finally competitive, though Torro Rosso have the greatest number of nominations here for good reason.
Best Overtake: Rosberg on Hamilton showing that he can race aggressively, even if it doesn't come naturally. Trouble was, there were so many brilliant manoeuvres that I can't really remember one in particular standing-out (not that I'm complaining).
Best Moment: Kimi having a Gilles moment as he forced his car out of the barrier/advertising hoarding minus front wing.
DRS + Tyres: DRS too powerful down the back straight; tyres fine, as the inters hung-on for longer than I expected in the drying conditions.
And the race in a sentence: Best race of the year.
