"In terms of the cap thing, I don't know, it was pretty funny -- I don't really have much else to say about it!"

I'll look forward to a lengthy article from Lewis on the BBC website where he suggests the cap thing was just him channeling Senna's emotions because they are so alike... It'll be a great read I'm sure.

Perhaps this, the next time?

Scrap that PC stuff
It's a pity that Rosberg's handsome gesture is forgotten because of this. He fairly congratulated Hamilton who then should have let him alone - especially when he saw that Rosberg is pissed (and I'm pretty sure he knew it. Obviously there was a team radio after turn 1).
On the other hand, Rosberg should have thrown the cap to the other side of the room but not to Hamilton.
In a similar situation I'd have done the same thing. The message coming with it.is: leave me alone. Rosberg did congratulate Hamilton, but I'm sure he wasn't looking forward to any kind of media interaction. Which turned probably out the way Rosberg expected.
He tossed him the hat he has to wear to the podium. How is that anything but being helpful? Rosberg launched it back. Not helpful.
Had a chuckle: To my mind only tosser tossing things. Nothing serious, just for the laughs.

Waiting for the article were someone claims that Hamilton is the reincarnation of Senna.

Waiting? The English media has been all over that for years.
But Hamilton doesn't need to be 'the next X', he is more than capable of being himself.
The name Hamilton is just as much a part of F1 history as that of other champions.

So why has he morphed into Wesley Snipes and Mr.T?

Mr T pities the fool that has to wear his jewellery.
Our Nige wore a tweed flat cap. Jacques wore baggy overalls. Schumi wore dodgy cowboy boots. JYS wore tartan trews.
Lewis is following in the footsteps of giants. Sartorially, that is.
