Racers with that mean streak in them and the incidents...

Howzit! (That is a South African greeting btw :) )

 

So this whole Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi has me thinking that often the really good racers have a really mean streak in them. I honestly believe Rossi is shocked that he has finally met a match who can dish it out to him in the same manner he did/does to others.

 

But then following the whole Rosberg/Hamilton collision (and Japan), it seems clear that it's across motorsport that we see this side of racers. So what are the examples where we see drivers/riders showing this side?

 

I'll put the following one as a start:

 

Fernando Alonso holding Lewis up in qualifying at the 2007 Hungarian GP (and I'm a great fan of his btw and this isn't the only example I have of him).
