5/10 Not great but not bad

Best Driver: Kyvat
Worst Driver: Vettel

Best Overtake: Can't think of any to be honest.
Best Moment: The crowd
DRS + Tyres: Meh
And the race in a sentence: Average race

Worst driver Vettel

Best drive, anyone who managed to make it look like a race

Was looking forward to this race, but ended up disappointed.

Don't think there was anything to justify a best or worst driver or team, but the race in a word (don't need a sentence).........................BLAND.

Sorry but such a let-down for the great crowd.

Actually, THEY get my vote for BEST of EVERYTHING today.

Best Driver: Kvyat

Worst Driver: Kimi or Vettel - take your pick.
Best Team: Mercedes
Best Overtake:
Best Moment: Kimi finally comes a cropper from barging into somebody
DRS + Tyres: Meh - hard to say. A new track surface might have made them less effective than normal
And the race in a sentence: Is it over yet?

Best Driver: Nico

Worst Driver:Vettel or Kimi

Best Team: Mercedes and Williams

Best Overtake:Bottas on Kimi

Best Moment:Bottas on Kimi

DRS + Tyres: both stink

And the race in a sentence: really disappointing. It was clear after a handful of laps that overtaking would be an issue. Not sure what can be done about that going forward as the overheating is always going to be an issue at that altitude.

Rated it 3/10.

Best Driver: Kvyat and Hamilton
Worst Driver: Vettel for losing the car twice, and Sainz for giving up his place right in front of the DRS detection point - the sort of pettiness best left elsewhere.
Best Team: Mercedes - the other teams are rather embarassing.
Best Overtake: Nothing comes to mind.
Best Moment: Pérez snatching a place from Verstappen in front of his home crowd, I guess.
DRS + Tyres: Whatever.
And the race in a sentence: One of the lowpoints of the season thanks to unimpressive driving standards, Mercedes being utterly dominant, a safety car, and a circuit filled with boring slow corners.

Best Driver: The Mercedes engineers who examined the first sets of tyres and told both drivers to two-stop when they wanted to stay out. Or maybe the engineers who told Pérez to stay out when he wanted to pit.
Worst Driver: The engineers who couldn't manage Nasr's brake temperatures.
Best Team: Kimi + Valtteri.
Best Overtake: Valtteri on Kimi.
Best Moment: Kimi and Valtteri was fun.
DRS + Tyres: DRS killed all the excitement, and I guess that's what it's designed to do, so it was spot on. Tyres? Hard to tell on the brand new super slippery tarmac. (But according to Williams's team radio just before the safety car restart, the medium tyres gave more grip than the softs when the tyres were on the cold side, and that's kind of odd, isn't it?)
And the race in a sentence: I'm sure next year's race will be more exciting when the track has been rubbered in and the engineers have had time to analyse all the terabytes of data.

5/10 (with a bonus point for the history, the scenery, and the crowd)

3/10. So much hype, so little action. Very disappointed.

Best Driver: Nico Rosberg and Valtteri Bottas
Worst Driver: Sebastian Vettel
Best Team: Mercedes
Best Overtake: None.
Best Moment: Williams' hospitality girls. Honestly.
DRS + Tyres: Tyres good. DRS didn't destroy too much.
And the race in a sentence: I'm happy Interlagos is next.

I can't imagine, how anyone can put "Best driver of the race" to anyone but Rosberg. Fastest in two out of three Free Practices; Pole Position; fastest lap; leading all laps but 6. And driving in front of team mate, of whom several people say that je's one of the best ever, in same car and team - and who never got a chance for attacking, for he couldn't get within DRS range.

If all that isn't enough for 'Best driver', well, then I don't know what is.

So when cars were closing in at a greater rate once they had passed the DRS line, they were... an illusion?

5 (and most of them for the crowd!)

With a circuit with tarmac that is barely cured that was only rubbered in on the racing line it was never going to have much overtaking.

It's time that circuits have to be properly run in with multiple meetings before F1 arrive - the first races at most new circuits are always a bit of a farce - Sochi & Austin the same.  Of course that would be difficult in countries that don't give a toss about motorsport and only want F1 for their image.

Yeah it seemed passing a Mclaren was so fast it felt like an illusion, everyone else who had similar engines and tyre strategies had no answer to the car in front of them.

You saw the Williams cars making short work of any gap towarss any Renault powered car at the start. It looked very tedious for them to get almost a free second.

Worst Driver:
Best Team:
Best Overtake:
Best Moment:
DRS + Tyres:
And the race in a sentence:

Completely off-topic, but why are DRS + Tyres together in a single category?

As for the race itself:

Best driver: N/A

Worst driver: Vettel or Kimi. In hindsight, Vettel. At least Kimi was battling when he crashed.

Best team: N/A

Best overtake: The Freddy Mercury lookalike in the bright yellow top who leaped past *at least* three other punters to get a live feed close-up 10 mins or so before the start of the race

Best moment: The end of the prelude (?) to the Mexican national anthem 14 mins before the start,

DRS + Tyres: Yes, there were DRS zones and the tyres were white and yellow.

Annoying that live timing was down for a good 20 minutes at least during the race; annoying that HAM was forced to pit after just 20 laps on the medium and then didn't get softs to try something different that might have spiced things up - in conclusion, the race didn't live up to the hype..

Best Driver: Nicely managed races from Rosberg and Kvyat. Nice return to the points for Hulkenberg. But screw it, it's Mexico, so I'll give it to Perez. Very nice tyre management at home from him.
Worst Driver: Pick a Ferrari driver. Vettel had several errors, Raikkonen with the third serious blunder in three races. Their errors robbed us of what might have been a decent race with the Mercs too. Also, Stevens for being consistently beaten by a teammate who's only in his third GP.
Best Team: Mercedes. Until further notice, it's always Mercedes.
Best Overtake: Can't think of one, to be honest.
Best Moment: The podium! Fantastic stuff. Despite Nigel Mansell.
DRS + Tyres: Better than expected. DRS didn't ruin everything, as I feared it might.
And the race in a sentence: An encouraging return to the track and an enjoyable race but one that was lacking the challenge Ferrari might have mounted. 7/10.

I thought Bottas on Kimi was interesting, and also him being able to pass Kvyat, other than that... well, Ferrari drivers looked a bit silly, and Mercedes strategy team preventing a fight for the win was not so exciting...

the race was not very enjoyable to watch which is a shame specially considering all the enthusiasm from the crowd, that was really impressive, I hope they get a better show next year (like Russia from the first to second year)

I can't imagine, how anyone can put "Best driver of the race" to anyone but Rosberg. (...)

If all that isn't enough for 'Best driver', well, then I don't know what is.

I choose Kvyat because I was more impressed by both his gap to Ricciardo and his successful attempts to stay in front of the Williams cars - until the safety car evaporated the gap he had so carefully built up over the course of the race.

Rosberg did a good job, of course, but not only should he have had to crawl through the gravel - or be penalized - for making the mistake he made through the Esses, this race smelled far too much of a late-season gift for me to really be impressed. Maybe that's unfair, and Hamilton really did not have the speed to pass Rosberg, but seeing him follow at a near constant 2 or so seconds reminded me of all those races Barrichello 'won' after Schumacher had wrapped up the title.

Best Driver: Bottas or Rosberg, I would have gone with Kvyat had he held third.
Worst Driver: Raikkonen. If there's a car halfway alongside you, you have to give room.
Best Team: Mercedes I suppose, no team especially stood out.
Best Overtake: Perez on Verstappen, mostly for the crowds reaction.
Best Moment: The start I guess,
And the race in a sentence: Mostly boring, but great to see a huge and lively crowd who really got into it.

Worst Driver: Vettel
Best Team: Mercedes
Best Overtake: Can't think of any special non-DRS moves

And the race in a sentence: Not great but a good track and tremendous passion from the grandstands.

Worst Driver: Raikkonen
Best Team: Mercedes
Best Overtake: Were there any?
Best Moment: Last ten laps after the safety car closed things up.  Also the end, it was boring for the most part.
DRS + Tyres: DRS - didn't see any evidence of it being used.  Tyres - Hamilton should have risked one stopping and defied the team.
And the race in a sentence: Big crowd, wonder how much to get in - otherwise a total bore.

Best Team: Mercedes. I guess
Best Overtake: Bottas would say his move on Räikkönen. But there weren't any. DRS-moves were fun though. Or something.
Best Moment: I had a really good toilet break about mid way through the race
DRS + Tyres: Not being of any use for the poor souls having to race with a crap Renault or Honda. Tyres were black and round and spelled Pirelli on the side.
And the race in a sentence: Overrated experience from the inside bubble of F1. Boring, it's quickly forgotten.

Yeah fair point. I'm maybe (wrongly) basing it on the ease in which Bottas for instance was able to pass Kvyat without the DRS.

I guess they could change the activation point for next year. It seemed very like Monza 2011 where DRS wasn't especially powerful (MSC V Ham springs to mind)

Best Driver: Rosberg. Only really 1 minor mistake, deserved the win
Worst Driver: Vettel. 1 of his very few 'off' days
Best Team: Mercedes, purely because they basically wee wee'd on everyone else, albeit had no true challengers
Best Overtake: Er.........maybe Ricciardo on Maldonado or whoever it was when Horner was live on Sky Sports F1.
Best Moment: Maldonado nearly crashing but managing to avoid the wall?
DRS + Tyres: Meh, nothing special
And the race in a sentence: Incredible crowd, but a poor race. 4/10 (and I've added a point or 2 because of the fans, just because)

Gave it a 9 purely because of the crowd and because it's one of the few new races I will be looking forward to every year. The race wasn't a cracker but so what? It becomes increasingly clear that the problem preventing us from having exciting races is not the tracks, but the current aero rules.

Best Driver: Rosberg - If only he'd been able to keep Hamilton behind him for more of this season...
Worst Driver: Vettel - but at least he kept trying after his first lap puncture and and apologised for driving like s**t
Best Team: RBR - because for all the engine shenanigans they were actually quite competitive on a track that you thought would suit the strongest engine
Best Overtake: Perez in the stadium for the fans
Best Moment: Finn on Finn action
DRS + Tyres: DRS a bit ineffective (high altitude?), tyres could have been a step softer
And the race in a sentence: Great fans, average racing

7/10 - Could have been worse

Not sure about that. 'classics' like  Spa, Monza, Interlago, Suzuka EVEN  the Hungaroring provide more overtaking opps then almost all TILKE dromes.
